Back in the day, when you injured yourself playing video games, it was called #Nintendo Thumb.  Well, I guess I have #Logitech Palm.  The heel of my hand is sore where it rests on the desk.  I guess I have been click happy recently.  The #Windows beenie helps cushion though.

Lookit what came in the mail today.  The Penguin edition of The Dark Eidolon and Other Stories by Clark Ashton Smith.

Somebody is having a lazy day.

My wife and I have been binge-watching the series of Grey's Anatomy. She's a huge fan; I had never seen it. I like the show, but last night's episode played background music that has now become my new favorite song. 

I am glad to hear this. I love shopping in #indie #bookshops.

There is of course the obligatory "it will be harder than you think" and "you won't get rich" parts, but this is otherwise a nice, inspirational article for indie authors.

Taking things easel-ly today with some anatomy practice doodles.

I know.  I should get some help.  But it's cold outside.

So, yesterday I decided to start teaching myself digital 3D sculpting. While I'm stumbling quite a bit, I'm happy with what I've learned in a single day. It is both easier and more difficult than I imagined. Here is my current work in progress, which is my first 3D sculpt ever.  

My life drawing for the day.  It's a tree across the field behind my house.  Started with HB graphite and finished in Photoshop.

Today is Picasso's 137th birthday. He was born October 25, 1881.

Marco Bucci, who I'm sure you know is one of my primary role models, is in a short interview today.  He talks about teaching art.  In many ways, Marco has that same quality that Bob Ross did about making you feel like art is something you really can do. So, I thought I'd pass it along.
