Q1) does impulse regret not bringing the kids and his wife with him to skizz?

Q2) considering the burns on his face, how did he react to seeing the aftermath?

Q3) is impulse working as a firefighter with pearl in this au too?

Not only would impulse have survivors guilt, but has also become very paranoid and scared of smart technology. Which becomes an issue when someone brings up the idea of updating the silos equipment to adapt better. This paranoia also applies to blaring alarms.

There’s definitely a part of him that regrets it. But even if the thought briefly crossed his mind at one point, he knows it wasn’t an option. Skizz is running a smuggling ring, a criminal organization; and even if he is a good man at heart, that’s still not a good place for a child. If Impulse regrets anything, it’s mostly that he put that tap on the power hub in the first place. If he hadn’t gotten himself in trouble with the law, he wouldn’t have had to go on the run, and he would have been with his family when the city fell.

Oooh, that’s a great question! I have different plans for Impulse’s career path that will be revealed in the next two chapters, but I like the idea of Pearl being a firefighter in the Silo. (In my mind there are Silo versions of all the Hermits, whether Imp and Skizz have met them or not ;-3) We’ll see if she comes into any stories in the future!
