So some fanartist drew a “sexy” (read: booby) version of a (cartoon) character who is traditionally very non-sexualised. Fans of the character got mad about it because it’s kind of groundbreaking how that character is written and portrayed and this art totally ignores the entire point of the character. They demanded the art be deleted. In response to that other people said, well what the fanartist did may be distateful but they have every right to draw what they’re into. The two sides fight for days and each starts a harassment campaign and even report their “opponents’” accounts.

So far so typical. But things eventually come to a head and they decide that this will be settled by votes - not through a poll. Through donations to a children’s education charity via each side’s portal. Whoever can get the highest amount of donation wins.

-Nat stalking Misty and breaking into her house with a rifle, and Misty looking what can only be described as absolutely horny when she first sees her

Also her little smirks when Misty says something funny but she knows she’s not allowed to laugh and show how biased she is. And that knowing, tearful, intense look they share after Tai exposes Nat during the trial and the wind is blowing dramatically

-Misty barging in and snorting Nat’s cocaine to prevent her from relapsing, and the two of them wrestling like petulant children on the ground

-Misty tampering with Nat’s car just so she can go on a roadtrip with her

-Nat allowing Misty to play the Cats musical soundtrack in the car for hours

-Nat looking so happy to see Misty at the high school reunion and the two of them strutting in next to each other and sharing little smirks

-Nat hallucinating Misty at the bonfire party as a representation of how tethered they would end up being

-Nat and Misty working together to orchestrate the rescue plan and Misty smiling proudly when she realizes they’ve succeeded

-Nat keeping Misty’s secret about the transponder for 25 years and literally taking it to the grave with her

-Nat and Misty working together to blackmail some Redditor guy, Misty pouring gasoline on his lap while Nat flicks on the lighter and threatens to light his dick on fire while Misty is beaming excitedly
