You know I remember a moment I held Shiro (from Voltron) at an idol position.

I would draw him, I would read fan fictions on him, lots of other things… *ahem*

Anyways, when I came stronger in my faith I told God I’d choose him over Shiro if I had to.

And guess what. God put me to the test.

Shiro came out as gay and I was DEVASTATED. But I knew I had to let it go. I couldn’t worship sin. I couldn’t accept him, I had to let him go.

So I chose God over Shiro.

Here’s the thing; interests come and go, they’ll change overtime, but God will always stay the same. He’ll always be there.

As a little kid, I was SOOOOOO damn obsessed with Shrek.

I mean the kind of obsessed where I’d watch it over and over again days in a row. It was all I ever wanted to watch.

It got to the point where I had memorised it word-for-word, and beat-for-beat. This meant that, somehow, I could watch it in my head—timed perfectly. No fast forwarding, no skipping.

Now this was fine for car trips and such, because my dad would be like “Hey do you want some colouring-in to do?” And id be like “Nah, I’m going to watch Shrek in my head.”

Ocassionally my dad would ask where I was up to in the movie—just to check on me.

Youre probably thinking Huh that’s weird but cool I guess?

Wrong. Sort of.

It got so bad that I’d watch it in my head at night before I went to sleep. My dad would literally check on me at night, notice I was blankly staring up at the ceiling, and have to yell “Stop watching Shrek and go to sleep!”

I cant remember how this faded from being one of my abilities, but it sure was cool while it lasted.

BEACH DAY

Somone once commented “good guy seagull disposing of the evidence for you” and that’s what I choose to believe now.

Otaku son of a bitch: *leaves the room*

So my moms cousin goes “I’m sorry I don’t mean to eavesdrop but my family is from there.” And this guy looked so excited and they start chatting for a bit and the guy goes “What was your family name?” And she goes “Zimmerman.” And the guy gets suuuuuper quiet and goes “…… oh.” Like flat tone nothing.

She goes “What’s yours?” And he quietly tells her but won’t look at her and she goes quiet and goes “Oh.” And goes back to her food and the tables got SUPER awkward and tense and I’m sitting there going “Wtf is going on?” Cause they both suddenly stopped talking to each other.

On the way out I’m “What was that about?” She goes “I’ll tell you in the car.” So we get in the car and I’m like “Okay wtf was all that about?”

She goes “My great grandfather assassinated his grandfather.”
