"Moving Out".

So, this is what I'll be up to very soon: moving out to a new place!

The process will very likely be taking a few weeks, as I'll have to move my stuff but also buy new furnitures...

The timing might not be perfect though, as we've been going through complicated and early heatwaves this year... but we'll cope anyway.

Pumpkie: Hey, didn't your diabetologist tell you to be careful with that?

Sam: Y-yeah... the risk of being hypoglycemic is more important with the heat. So, I'll take cautions, I guess. (If anyone reading this is also a diabetic and is dealing with hot temperatures, I wish you to stay stafe btw)

During the process, I'm not sure exactly when I'll be able to repost digital art, as I'll need a desk to work properly. So it really depends on how things are gonna go. ÔO

The last thing I saw before waking up this morning was some sort of wheel, on which it was written: "SOMEDAY"/"TODAY".

So, this is how I started the day: with this thought that echoed in my mind.

Well, for the little anecdote, I confess I giggled a bit as the idea crossed my mind. So, I obviously had to make something out of it. x)

This was also a great opportunity for Kevean's return, as it had been years he hadn't shown up!

Pumpkie: Oh, right! How come? It's indeed been awhile we haven't seen him around...

Sam: Well... let's say stuff happened in my life in the meantime, and for some reason he reminded me of those weird things I had to move on from. So, uuugh...

Pumpkie: Wait, so DeviantArt suggested you that old artwork after seeing those last fanarts you made of... errr, you know that character from TADC. Canine... Caine?

Sam: You... yeah, you summed it up. I guess that was because of the teeth.

Pumpkie: Ahhhh, hahaha! I remember! From yeeeears ago!

You made an artwork with a silhouette standing, in the darkness... it was written in French, the mysterious silhouette was joking about having better than a chastity belt: a vulva with teeth! I think it was hinted it belonged to a transman anyway, and...

But... yeah. I'm not regretting this concept, it just... felt weird, that morning. Then it fixed into my mind for a bit. WTF, the algorithm made a link between Caine and… that? Ykw, I'm craiing.

Pumpkie: Life is funny, right? It even makes links you wouldn't think of...

Well, let's say he miiiiiiight sometimes react in some childish way, maybe? And then, you might just look at him from a different perspective despite his deep gentleman voice. ÔO

Of course, this won't change the fact I'll still consider him as an adult like the others... but here is Caine anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, I have to admit I have always had a strange time with AI characters while trying to figure out how to consider them: just as a program that mimics human emotions, or as something that grows sentient over the time? Both versions exist in fictions...

(Imagine part of him was built with a human soul inserted into an AI... but he doesn't know anything about it, as much as he doesn't understand his feelings: who does after all?)

Anyway, how do you feel about the ol' Caine quitting the show? Good? Bad? Meh?

Do you consider him just as a mindless villain they got rid of? Or as the victim of his growing insecurities? And was Caine's soul... err, I mean, data, fully erased? Can he be recovered?

PS: Come to think of it... is his dubious appearance actually linked to his implied cannibalistic past at his early stage? ÔO

PS2: Ahhh, so that was me technically drawing an AI character with a pencil and a pen, but should I consider this as some sort of AI art without being AI art? Tbh this sketch was redrawn FIVE times before being posted as such. I'm tired...

To be fair, I've spent the whole afternoon working on this, to make sure to post something this Sunday... and I'm glad I got it done! (I wasn't sure I would make it... and now my wrist somewhat hurts, ah haha)

So, here we go... 2025 is behind, and... yep.

Not like I feel like much has changed to be honest. I don't know how you are living it... seeing years pass by.

But, I have to admit that was the mood, sort of. Sometimes, you may feel too slow in some aspects of your life, compared to what you’re expected to do.

However, I suppose a few steps made throughout the previous year might serve at some point. But you don’t realize it right away… right?
