Okay so we'll talk, I came across Stargate yesterday afternoon and tell my while I'm already on Episode 9 of Season 1... LIKE, WHERE THE FUCK HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! No, I'm sorry but I'm being so serious when I say, the series holds up. Season 1 came out in 1997 and for sci-fi of the time, the graphics are actually amazing! When I tell you I squeeled when the fucking goa'uld parasite came out of that woman's stomach in Episode 1! Aint no way, 1997 graphics should be gorier then 2026. Modern Day Sci-fi you need to step your puss up bitch.

Anyway, guess I have a new show that'll become my entire personality for the next 12 months!

I looked at Carmen and realized that he was not going to be on the show any more. My beautiful Carmen, whom I adore. All of a sudden I started to cry and couldn't stop. I wasn't even on camera at the time, but I couldn't stop. Peter Deluise looked at me and asked, 'Are you all right?' and I sobbed, 'But it's Carmen." Tapping says she eventually pulled it all together, and went to the observation room to shoot a scene with Richard Dean Anderson: "We're sitting getting ready for this little scene between Carter and O'neill, which is quite wonderful, and some interesting things are brought to bear. Rick turned to me and said, 'You're not crying, are you?' and I went, 'Yes, I am.' And he replied, 'I hate it when you cry. I hate it.' And it was just the perfect prelude to that little scene between us.

First, she doesn't give a damn about Janet? I don't even think she hugs her at the end? Though it's not my favourite episode so I can't remember.

I'm kind of never not thinking about this specific Teal'c moment.

Amanda Tapping throws her head back and laughs at the mention of 'Space Race': "Honestly, it has to be one of the crew's favorite episodes. The art department and construction guys really put their hearts and souls into it, and all over the lot you would see huddles of people creating their own ships at recycled rubbish and the like. Everyone really took the episode to heart, and the competition to build the wackiest ship was very intense." Tapping was totally impressed. "You'd think we were racing these things for real, the amount of effort and detail the guys put in."

I love Teal'c's little hats when they're out and about, like when Spock wears hats to hide his ears.

I like to imagine they learned quickly that if Teal'c didn't hide the forehead symbol, people would just go, "oh wow, sick body mod," but that Teal'c also discovered he just really likes fun hats.
