Disappointed about The Vampire Lestat and it’s finale. Here’s why. Obviously this will contain SPOILERS.
I know the show is about Lestat but I really don’t like how we got so little explanation about Devils minion. When they were promoting this season the actors and writers all made it seem like there would be more than there was.
Why must we see multiple sex scenes between Lestat and his mom and can’t even get a kiss between Armand and Daniel??? We didn’t even get an explanation about when they made up or like how they’re now companions!! Every episode that came out and didn’t have much scenes with them I’d think “ok well next episode will have more scenes with them” and then it didn’t.
The other thing that is disappointing is how Gabrielle is not at all trans coded? I’m not even super far into the book series but I at least know that she’s trans/cross dresser in the books. We missed out on trans representation big-time. :(
I’m not upset with the actors however I am kinda annoyed because Eric and Assad really made it seem like something would happen??!! Am I delusional??? This is the vampire chronicles. Why are we shying away from kiss or sex scenes with the best ship in the whole show??? Canon is not good enough. >:[
How is old man yaoi too much to ask for? And why couldn’t Daniel be the one to help Armand get over his trauma instead of Louis???!!!
