Sorry, lovely followers! I've started college, so I've been busy, but I am not neglecting you!
Day twelve:
Favourite Marilyn book?
Well, the only real biography I've read so far is The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, although I own a few more. I don't think that makes it very fair to choose that one, so I'm going to choose out of the picture books I own. My favourite has to be Monroe by James Spada. I love the photos he decided to use. Some of the loveliest ones. However, my copy has begun to fall apart. /:
Day eleven:
Favourite director?
This was almost a tie between Wilder and Cukor, but then I sat down, examined their filmographies and came to a decision. I, overall, have enjoy films by Cukor more so. Not just Marilyn films. If I had judged by solely her films, Billy would have been my choice. He directed two of her most famous films, but I didn't feel it was fair to judge on just her own films.

Sorry, I don't have Internet right now, so running this blog is sort of difficult. But please, submit things!
Day ten:
A film role you think would have been perfect for Marilyn and why?
The role of Gilda would have fit Marilyn so well. It had the sex appeal she was famous for, but it was also so much deeper than that. I think it would have shown many facets of her acting. I know it was filmed a little earlier than Marilyn's career began, but if it had happened later, the character should have been all her's.
My second choice was Madeleine in Vertigo, however, I feel maybe her mental instability would have gotten in the way.

Day nine:
Favourite female co-star?
Bette Davis in All About Eve. Marilyn only had a small role, but it was a huge step in her career. I adore this film, Marilyn, and Bette. Bette was such a wonderful actress; I've seen at least four of her films and am trying to get a hold of more.
Day eight:
Favourite male co-star?
It's probably a tie between Tom Ewell and Jack Lemmon. They both played great roles and did fantastic jobs, so it's difficult to decide. I love both films, and I don't think they would have been the same had other actors played those characters.
