save me, rice mixed with some bullshit
Easy rice pilaf recipe, makes 4-6 servings:
1 cup basmati rice
½ cup quinoa
~⅓ cup dried mushrooms, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp thyme
4 Tbsp butter or olive oil
2½ cups water
salt
Wash rice and quinoa together in pot
Add water, mushrooms, thyme, salt and 3 Tbsp butter/oil to pot
In a separate pan, sautée garlic in 1 Tbsp butter/oil, then add to pot
Stir everything up
Bring pot to boil, then turn heat down to low and cover
Let cook for 15-20 mins
Fluff rice and serve :)
