actually fucking disgusting that glasses cost any money like if you actually think about it for more than a few seconds it is so unconscionably inhumane. this goes for things like insulin and mobility aids and hearing aids too ofc but fuck man, fucking glasses? the thing you need to fucking see? its genuinely sickening and inhumanly evil that those cost ANYTHING.

For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.

In Gaza you can see everything bad that comes to mind, literally everything. You can see missiles falling on residential areas and exploding, completely destroying them, and no one survives. You can also see helicopters firing bullets more heavily than rain toward houses or what remains of houses and tents, and tanks firing shells toward you without stopping.

In the streets of the world everything is clean and full of flowers, but with us there are no more flowers, only tents for the displaced and graves of the martyrs. You cannot see anything beautiful; all you see is destruction, bombing, devastation, killing, displacement, and hunger.

Everything that is not beautiful you find with us. Everything is difficult, everything is bitter. We suffer. Listen to our cries and do not leave us. Wars are supposed to be between armies, but here the war is between a Nazi Zionist army and only elderly people, women, and children.

They have wiped out the entire youth category and destroyed an entire generation, rather generations. They have destroyed a city, executed our lives, killed us, and no one has held them accountable. when i was a kid i decided that killing people was bad therefore war was bad therefore the military was evil. and adults would tell me it's more nuanced than that and i would understand when i grew up. well i'm a grown up now and idk i still think that killing people is bad and war is bad and the military is evil
