Ok, we need to act serious.
You, and me, we both love Slugterra.
It has the potential to be a franchise that lasts for years. We know that.
But, I want to stop dreaming and I want to make it a reality.
So,
how do we bring it back?
Like, Wildbrain probably thinks that since Ascension didn't work, there is no fanbase or anyone willing to watch Slugterra.
And yeah, it's true, It's been a long time and I don't see lots of people begging for Slugterra (aside fans from Tumblr, I love u guys) to come back.
So, we have 2 issues.
1. Making Slugterra popular again in order to gain enough followers so Wildbrain decides to continue Slugterra.
2. Making Wildbrain invest in good writing, animation, and everything in order to have the same or closest product that asimilates to the Slugterra of years ago. I say this because Slugterra (at least to me) had the perfect lore, writing, dialogue, characters, UGH, EVERYTHING. I don't want it to change, at all.
Like, I want the same voice actors, or good actors that can give a new light to the characters. They donβt have to necessary sound like the same voice actors from years ago (it would be cool), instead, I would love to hear someone give a new side to a character. Voice acting is amazing if done right.
I wrote this post because I LOVE Slugterra. The show comforts me when I have a horrible day and cheers me up, it's extraordinary.
And look, I could write the next season on ao3 and be happy. But it isn't the same as having a whole series and a big fanbase to share theories and fanart, and simply interact.
With all said and done, SLUGTERRA COME BACK!!!!
Dashcon I mean let's hold a convention. Maybe little meet ups and post about the events.
