Found mostly in South America. Its shell resembles bark, and its head resembles fallen leaves, making it an expert at camouflage. It is also an expert at looking like my nightmares.

the point I like to make with all of it is…Rin and Yukio are foils to each other. Seemingly opposites, but in reality, they fill in the gaps of each other’s abilities.

This 14th century archangel Gabriel in the V&A museum has two scars where their wings used to be, and that always makes me feel some kind of way.

in japanese, there’s a term for a person who dual wields swords called “ryoutoutsukai”, literally meaning something along the lines of “two sword user”. it’s ALSO a euphemism for bisexuality
