My first MLQC artwork? ٩(｡•́‿•̀｡)۶ Hello to the MLQC fandom! MC’s clothes are highly unfinished, goodness. Still need to add a whole lot of lace to the afterwards.

Don’t know how many this post will reach, seeing that most of my notes aren’t from my followers, but yea, decided to post it anyway. 

I originally started posting ikesen scribbles as a fun thing among friends. And I needed a god-damned distraction (yes, I’m a swear roulette; this is me on a good day) from school and work. So boom, a tumblr was created and scribbles turned into solid artworks and here we are now.

Seriously, if you’ve ever liked, reblogged, commented, saved, or even stopped scrolling to view my work, I thank you from the bottom of my angsty little wretched heart.

I really, really don’t know what to say other than thank you at this point; I’m so glad you guys think so much of my work.

I came to tumblr and twitter pretty much alone, so I don’t know many people here. If anyone wants to chat about art, fangasms, or simply as to why the sky is blue, feel free to hop into my DMs. I squeak when I’m startled, so I can swear on Isehime’s grave that I’m not in the least bit scary. Yet another Procreate sketch! :D Started out as mostly hair practice (I love asymmetrical hair), but decided to polish up the face to go along with. Growing increasingly familiar with sharpening the hair tips and basic shading functions now. Done with the Mercury brush this time.

Arthur from Ikemen Vampire and Kenshin from Ikemen Sengoku 

My first time drawing with Procreate! Wow, it’s really a leap from Photoshop. Arthur was my first and I had quite a bit of trouble getting used to drawing on a live screen. It started off all jittery and I couldn’t get the proportions right XD His features started falling into place once I figured out how to properly use the Free Transform tool. And holding the damn pencil right, heh. 

Kenshin was way easier. Probably because I love inky sketches in general and couldn’t wait to fiddle around with their glorious inking set. I only used the Inka brush and it is phenomenal! My wacom doesn’t have tilt so you can imagine how blown my mind was. Technicalities aside, I’m in love with his enigmatic expression. Is he about to go murder mode? Some kind of quiet determination? Lost in thought? The beauty of this man will be the death of me. 

And because I didn’t have an iPad stand, I’ve been drawing with it propped up on my lap the whole time so you can imagine the parallax error. Gotta get a proper stand soon. Anyway, landscape was all I could manage because of this. Wanted to crop, but figured some might enjoy this orientation as a wallpaper. *cough* aka me You’re more than welcome to download and use it for personal use, no need to ask. Reposting to other platforms are fine as long as they are linked back to this original post, thanks!

Thank you for your beautiful words, dear. My schedule’s a bit of a nutjob these days with the current coronavirus situation, but I’m still colouring up commissions (this Mitsuhide piece is also a commission) as best as I can. I hope this piece will be finished in about a week or two!（* ´▽｀*）
