It is time to lock in. Regardless of the outcome today, our fandom will be harassed.

When we’re right, it’ll be because people think we forced the creators, or that it was rushed or (from the homophobes) it’s pushing the gay agenda.

If we’re wrong, then it’ll be because we were delusional, we were seeing things that weren’t there, and it’s our fault for having hope.

It really feels like there is no situation in which we win. EXCEPT WE WILL. No matter the outcome, we will find a way to weather the storm as a fandom. We always have.

Lock in, hold tight, and stand together. This is the moment we need to support each other the most.

We have gone crazy together, time and time again.

We don’t believe in coincidences.

We are friends, best friends.

And most importantly we are a team.

It is always the darkest before the dawn. It is always the scariest when the stakes are the highest. And while Stranger Things is not just about Mike and Will, the story begins with them and it ends with them.

So one last time, I’m asking you to do the one thing this fandom has done best: have faith. Trust what you’ve seen. Trust what you’ve heard.

Trust yourself and hope, one last time.
