Black Diamonds & Hearts 🖤
Felt like sharing an excerpt from one of my published short stories 🥰
“These diamonds are black. Does it mean that they are not real or that they have a lower value than actual diamonds?”
“No, not at all. Black diamonds are still diamonds. They are just as precious and their meaning is the same. The only difference is that black diamonds had to go through some trials. The inclusion of graphite in the crystalline structure during its formation gives it its color. However, this also makes it more brittle.”
“Oh. It's just like my heart.”
“Yes, exactly.”
