I am IN LOVE with the new merch. I especially can't get over how clean the poster and that coffee mug look... and protomen coffee???...I believe it's time to consume an unhealthy amount of caffeine. (not shown in this post but they also made a protomen beer too oh my god: read the newsletter if you haven't already)

Protothey raised $890 in two hours for Trans Aid Nashville at our meetup. The Protomen is about working together for a better world and holding onto hope even when the fight seems over. Protothey is a fanclub that makes that story reality. More than 100 of us held a meetup during their three night show at Marathon Music Works where we took photos, exchanged gifts, wore costumes, socialized, and made plans to change the world, just like the band we love. We are the spark, and no one fights alone. ✊️🎇

right outside of the venue, there was an incredibly sketchy white van that claimed to be selling “officially licensed merch” for a bit cheaper than inside. i wish i had a picture of just how sketchy the whole set up was, but it was really close to the venue for multiple nights in a row.

most people were reasonably suspicious of it until someone pointed out that the art on the shirt matched the new art found in the vinyl’s libretto.

on further investigation, there were multiple sources from people that verify the legitimacy of the shirts from the fact that kilroy was excited to see someone wear it to someone claiming that they literally saw the van guy print the shirts inside the venue.
