House Dulanger had long been in service to House Dzemael. With the untimely demise of the Baron Ser Alderique de Dulanger (posthumously “Ser Alderique the Resplendant”) at the hands of heretics, the Baroness Valtaine Dulanger had taken over the role of head of their house. Their eldest son Erchenaut had (reportedly) been unable to assume the position due to his tireless research on the Seventy-two Articles of Halonic Polity at Saint Endalim’s Scholasticate, as well as numerous other theological duties for the Holy See. But his reluctance to take upon the mantle of head of House Dulanger had many wondering whether he didn’t simply seek to avoid the position altogether.

Pfrymwyb enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time with Koko in the Chocobo Forest: the sound of wild chocobo, finding shade under the enormous trees. It was a far cry from the life she knew as a child, a passenger on a notorious pirate ship which constantly sailed from port-to-port, putting as many malms as possible between them and the ‘Cudas. In the Dravanian Forelands, time seemed to stand still, and Pfrymwyb could take some time for herself.

Gael Emberwoode was much too young to remember life on Ala Mhigo, but she would never allow her refugee status to define her life. There were opportunities to prove oneself in and around the streets of Ul’dah and she made a point of doing so--whether that manifested itself through bodyguard work with the Stone Torches, or by drinking everyone else under the table. Gael knew her own worth and she made sure that everyone else did too.
