when we went to my fiances family's house for christmas we brought 50 tiny plastic jesus instead of moving their one plastic jesus around (makes them mad) and dispersed them around the house to find

and the night we were planning to leave when they had found almost all of them (round 1) we made them vanish from the ledge where they were gathered and put them in much worse spots. like they don't even know how drastic their infestation is right now. i put one under the back seat of their car. there's one frozen inside of an ice cube at the bottom of their self-filling ice tray. there's one in the bottom of a golf bag. hidden behind paintings that never get moved. inside of medicine bottles. in their shower. inside of a board game. Easter decoration storage bins. They're sending pictures every time they find one but they're not even close.

I fucking hate when people say stuff like this. Especially when it's on a generally good post with valuable information. On the one hand I want to share that information because it could genuinely help someone; on the other, I don't want to spread this type of guilt-tripping and shaming and potentially trigger someone else like me. It's a lose-lose situation. No matter what I do, I am going to feel guilty. No matter what I do, I will feel like a terrible person. It sucks and I just wish people would stop doing this. I know it's shocking, but it is actually possible to make an important and useful post without guilting everyone that sees it into sharing.

i just saw a tiktok video captioned "how it went when my autistic brother watched my 11 moth old" and it was like. a regular adult dude playing with a baby of crawling age. it was cute. had the caption been anything else you'd have NOT know the guy was autistic. yet everyone in the comments was being so fucking odd "oh i love how he referred to babies as people" "this makes me want to cry <3" "two pure souls in a video" ect. like you people would rather die than be normal about autistic people huh
