what languages do people speak? how are families structured? what influences fashion trends? how is the city physically structured? it’s implied that it’s divided into districts with the naming of botza - how are those districts set up, and how do their histories differ? how do they produce food? what industries are common, and what industries are rare? how are materials transported around the city? what jobs are common? how is labor valued? who constructs new buildings? who designs them? what are the sociopoltical factors that influence trends in art, architecture, fashion, and music? is it common for people to travel long distances in the city? is it common for people to move away from their families? what is the common understanding of what a ‘successful’ life is? how is schooling structured? is there a concept of higher education? what economic systems are used? what is the system of government (before anyone says the consensus, it’s a JOKE to imply that’s the Whole Government for a city of possibly trillions)? how often do people interact with their government? what is seen as valuable? what holidays do they celebrate? what holidays are city wide, and what are seen as specific to specific cultures within the city? what’s food like? what do people do when they want a fun night out? is it seen as desirable to live closer to the traveler? how do opinions about guardians, the traveler, and the light and darkness vary across the city, and how does this play into the factions that hold power? what is considered countercultural? whats a common first date? what economic system do they use? if the city is truly utopian (which they sometimes seem to want us to believe, but i dont buy) what systems are in place to protect people who would otherwise be overlooked in society? what are the lasting impacts of twilight gap? six fronts? the red war? how much of the economic output of the city is guardian-focused (ie. the sheer number of weapons manufacturers there)? what sports are played? 

I am just starving for lore about the reef as a whole. What's out there?? Is it all barren apart from the tangled shore and dreaming city? Are there other awoken and eliksni cities? Where are all the civilian awoken?
