Was i excited to see BO1&2 on ps5? Yes. Did I buy them? No. For multiple reasons;
First of all, we're currently boycotting sony for their bullshit decision about physical media, and them trying to ignore the backlash of from the fans doesnt help their case, its been over a week with still no response. So they aint getting a single dime from me from now on. They have no backbone to face their fans and has the ego the size of Antarctica that they believe this will work. And people WILL bend backwards for them when a game as nostalgic as BO1&2 drops, and thats exactly what happened, but people are still relentless and vicious with ratioing every tweet they post.
Secondly, this is about the game itself and activision; do you know how much the game costs? A single one not both... Balck Ops 1 cost $40, and Black Ops 2 costs, you guessed it, whopping forty bucks. Not together! Each game costs $40 on its own.
And mind you, the dlcs are NOT included with the games. So you have to PAY for the dlcs separately, which costs $20 EACH season pass and there's two season passes one for each game.
So if you add all of them together, thats $100.... charging $100 for a 13 year old game that came out on PlayStation 3, is very predatory and outrageous behaviour. From activision who thought of it, Xbox who greenlit it, and PlayStation that agreed to add it on its stores.
And mind you, this isn't remaster for the games, like if it was i would've *slightly* understood the point, but they are PORTS directly from PS3 and Xbox 360!!! Not even remasters.... do you know how fucked up that is?!
But sure, paying for nostalgia bait game is better than having moral rights 🙄 gun and ball gamers are the worst kind of games out there. And majority of them are am*ricans.
