Butttttttttt. Like, 1989 is so so so so ugly in that sense. So ugly. So ugly. I can’t even begin to explain it.

I grew to understand that it was her game and she played it and whatever. But it’s still so UGLY. Because she was sooo over the top with it. And like, Perfect comes out and people are like ‘seeeeeee hhe does the sameeee’

NOOOO. When Taylor was asked about the album she implied that it was about Harry. She did that. I read it with my own two eyes in a Rolling Stone interview. Then she changed her tone a bit. But then she changed it again, like, when she was interviewed by Vogue or Elle or whatever, and she talked about Clean, she specifically mentioned being in the same city as her ex for two weeks: London. The only one of her ‘exes’ that’s from England is Harry. And that’s just a few of the examples (the single choices…. the paper airplanes in the video and during tour…..).

But when Harry gets asked about it he says ‘I don’t even know who wrote that line’. And it’s one song after being the butt of the joke for three years. After having to clap while she implies that IKYWT was for him, while enduring her stupid British Accent at the Grammys in 2013, horrible articles about him cheating and being immature. Allegations of A FULL album being about him. Her liking tumblr posts dissing him.

I’m sorry but Harry has been nothing but a gentleman and she has been nasty af. I’m not going to line up with a woman just because she’s a woman.

I mean that one Rolling Stone interview, back when 1989 first came out, about how she wasn’t going to have drama with people anymore and this album wasn’t about that, but oh yeah Bad Blood is about a female performer in the music industry who stole my dancers and knows what she did *cough Katy Perry cough* but oh no I’m not using music to call anyone out I’m just America’s sweetheart love me unconditionally please. The fuck was that??? And then the fucking video, where she gathered an army of popular female entertainers to basically just rub it in Katy’s face in the most public, hurtful, vindictive way possible??

And I get her point about the media and shit to an extent, about how she has no privacy, and she can’t even go out for coffee with her fucking brother without the world deciding it’s her new boyfriend. That sucks, and it shouldn’t happen the way it does, and the system that allows it to happen is broken. BUT, that being said, she is the one who opened the damn door for this. Using your own experiance as inspiration for your art is fine, but if you’re gonna write song after song after song that are EXPLICITLY about your ex boyfriends (like John Mayer’s fucking name was even in the TITLE of one, how could she possibly be LESS subtle?), like what are we supposed to do?? How can she expect people not to react exactly how they have reacted?? She basically opened her diary for the world to read, and then got mad when we read it, and now is using feminism as a platform to say she should be able to do whatever the fuck she wants to whoever the fuck she wants with absolutely no consequences.
