Tree of Savior -- Game review.
Well, I am sorry since I get busy lately, I am unable to update most my doll activity and manga review, but since I am promised to review this game if I get a beta key, so I did.
Generally, graphic-based, this game has a very similar style with RO, as seen. Some people said the sprite are now in 3d, but I didn’t see much of different with 2d sprite of RO. Although, the jumping skill are very much makes different already compared to RO.
I really love some of scenery view. Is it such a lovely and peaceful look of a meadow. And the bridge system are really interesting too <3 I wonder if there any more interesting interaction in game, but sadly I was unable to try them all :/
I also very much liking the BGM song when facing the boss when they get a somekind of artifact from Goddess. Overall, their BGM get much of praise from most of player.
The gesturing also take more development in here. As they can do peace gesture and all, unlike in RO that only using icon.
Acolyte or priest or healer in this game are able to attack even normal element monster with heal. Thus making this job are actually somekind of imba job. You can pretty much do solo boss with this type of job alone. Spamming box of cure, heal, and other in ground and just lead the boss into stepping the box until their HP goes down. But flying monster are unable to get this attack so be careful with picking boss for solo.
Using ear to hear people opinion, some people feel like this game hurting their fingers since they need to continuously clicking z key to attack, unlike RO that can do automatic attack and only need to click once.
There is also some complain regarding on holding the skill and moving the cursor in order to targeting the enemies. But again, it seems like this game is aimed to be played with joystick or such. So such a things like cursor-aim based are something that can be predict. As for me, thanks to my compability with archer-type job, I can do the aiming job pretty well.
And IMO, the monster spawn are rather too much (and aggro too) even for 4000 player to handled. I am soloing normal mobs with quarrel shooter. But even when I just walking to the place I headed, The number of aggro following me are about 4-5 monster at once. I don’t know whether the system are really like this, or this is just happen because it is a CBT.
As I am looking forward for the story also, I didn’t found the story interest me. Which, makes me a bit disappointed. Looking on how the publisher make an event to repair the story text, the story didn’t awaking my interest like Mabinogi does.
Oh, be wary of FPS and RAM too. Using a high (8 GB) ram so you won’t lag. ALthough you can always try to lower the setting
Job: Archer- Quarrel Shooter Review
Well, I was wishing I can go further than quarrel shooter. But as my duo back off in the middle (she said her laptop can’t stand it anymore), so it’s hard for me to go alone.
But I pretty much can say, Archer is a good job. You can do AoE right away since start and you can do penetrate attack at most. I didn’t recomended to add swift step (or whatever the name) more than 1 since it wasn’t effect much. It was so much faster to click z and move rather than holding z and move.
And quarrel shooter, although in CBT before Pavise skill can’t stop a horde of monster with a shield alone (even when they are in linear with the shield!) at least it can block most of physical attack at day 3. Making things easier for boss. The Throwing Rock skill also always succeed in making monster stunt and back off (in my case). But IMO, with this many monster at the field, I don’t think quarrel shooter are good enough to survive. At this rate, Ranger would be more popular since they have mostly the AoE skill to kill mobs.
So, I am kinda calculating if archer - ranger - sapper - sapper are good build for mobs killer.
