“Patience is the watchword,” they say, right before showing a bartender aggressively pulling a tap handle to fill three identical glasses of foam. It’s the classic 1970s beer ad formula: show some wheat, show some giant copper tanks that look like they belong in a steampunk villain’s lair, and then assure the consumer that this mass-produced lager is actually “The Champagne of Bottle Beer.” Spoiler alert: it’s not champagne, but it will definitely make you forget you’re drinking it.
