“i’m glad you didn’t actually decide to stay in germany forever. who would i pester if you weren’t around?”

“I didn’t mean to just leave the tour for those days, it was just easier to stay longer and help my grandparents out a little more while I was already there,” he felt the need to explain. If Jaeho was being honest with himself, he would have stayed in Germany even longer if he hadn’t missed Andy so much. Yeah it had been hard for them sometimes to spend time together on tour, but that was still better than not seeing her altogether. He laughed softly, “I like it when you pester me, it makes me feel like I’m not actually being annoying always talking to you.”

Jaeho ran a hand through his hair, combing it back with his fingers for half a second while his eyes drifting across the small cafe. They’d found it while they both had a few spare hours in Manila away from the tour. No one would notice their absence, and if anyone did, Jaeho told himself that he would figure out how to take the fall for it somehow. “l know we’re not gonna get there for a while, but when the tour gets to Germany, would you maybe want to check out Berlin with me?” he asked, looking back at Andy as he spoke. “It’s been a while since I was back there, I don’t think Ryukji would get very mad if I didn’t just stay in the hotel the whole time,” Jaeho said, leaning forward in his chair across from her without really thinking about it. 

It was something that Jaeho had thought a lot about even before the tour was announced, somehow being able to show her everything he thought she would like back home. But he had always made himself dismiss it as an unrealistic idea until he saw that the tour was going to stop there for a show, and he already didn’t want to let the opportunity slip past him. Jaeho laughed softly, partially at himself just for asking about it so far in advance. “I promise I’m not trying to get you to eat weird German food like I did with TNT the last time we were in Europe.”

“if i don’t stay alive to raise your dumb asses, who else is gonna take care of you idiots.”

“I mean, technically Kaeun is the one who gets paid for it. Please don’t die, though.”

“where is back home to you?”

“Berlin. I don’t know why, but I always forget that you and Enzo are from Canada and not France.”

“everyone looks shitty next to her– you ain’t special.”

“I know I’m not, her tattoos just remind me of that on a daily basis.”

“yep. so you better keep saying it so i don’t forget about you.”

“Is that a threat or a challenge?”

“You know, I bet Sam is jealous. We got the best room, and he got Kisu and Seth.” @rvjaeho

“We could always crash their room to make him feel better. I bet he would love that, all we would need is Jihwan and then it would be all seven of us.”

“why is it that you and donny get two beds in your room. that’s hardly fair.”

“If you want we can switch with you and Hwilin.”

“Donny was too chicken to room with his girlfriend for four months, so this is me forewarning you that at some point on this tour you are going to get kicked out for at least a few hours, because I’m rooming with two people, one of whom is Azumi, and I refuse to mentally scar her with the knowledge that two of her closest friends have kicked her out so they can fuck. If you wanna blame someone, blame him.”

“Yeah, uh,” Jaeho said, trying not to come off as a dick as he replied. “I really don’t care.” He looked over at the girl, shrugging. “You really won’t have to try that hard to get me out of that room. It’s not exactly my favorite place to be. You might have an issue getting me, Kisu, and Seth out of it, but maybe it’d just be easier to talk to Shinwoo about that.”

“sometimes. jihwan is underwhelming. i forget he exists on occasion.”
