one in a million

Jaeho ran a hand through his hair, combing it back with his fingers for half a second while his eyes drifting across the small cafe. They’d found it while they both had a few spare hours in Manila away from the tour. No one would notice their absence, and if anyone did, Jaeho told himself that he would figure out how to take the fall for it somehow. “l know we’re not gonna get there for a while, but when the tour gets to Germany, would you maybe want to check out Berlin with me?” he asked, looking back at Andy as he spoke. “It’s been a while since I was back there, I don’t think Ryukji would get very mad if I didn’t just stay in the hotel the whole time,” Jaeho said, leaning forward in his chair across from her without really thinking about it. 

It was something that Jaeho had thought a lot about even before the tour was announced, somehow being able to show her everything he thought she would like back home. But he had always made himself dismiss it as an unrealistic idea until he saw that the tour was going to stop there for a show, and he already didn’t want to let the opportunity slip past him. Jaeho laughed softly, partially at himself just for asking about it so far in advance. “I promise I’m not trying to get you to eat weird German food like I did with TNT the last time we were in Europe.”

she pursed her lips before the relaxed into a smile, leaning forward too and taking his hand. “i’d love to,” she said excitedly, squeezing it. “i’ve never been anywhere, outside of like....miami and south korea. and berlin is special to you, so it’s extra exciting.” andromeda nodded decisively-- he was important to her. things that were important to him were important to her too.

she raised her eyebrow, shrugging. “i’m more adventurous than my dumbass brother. if you wanted to show me some weird food, i’d try it.”
