“i don’t even think i count as a runner up,” misaki retorted with a sheepish smile, trying not to panic at the sheer size of the crowd. “compass had some big crowds like this, but i never had to sing in front of them... this is too much....”

“you know what i want to do? a pirate concept,” chaemi said in a sing-song voice, humming to herself as she hung upsidedown on the common-area couch. “not lame pirates, either. a real pirate concept. like legacy sunbaenims. i just think that’s what kpop is missing these days.” @rvjoohye​ @rvmengxia​ @kaorvi​ @rvmisaki​ @rvdylanlee​ @rvisis​ @jinheerv​ @rvchaeli​ 

“that could be fun. i think i would look cool as a pirate,” misaki agreed with a tiny smile. “i don’t know if i have the presence to really take it all the way, though...”

“we’ve done a lot together, haven’t we,” yue mused softly, taking misaki’s hand and squeezing it lightly as the stylists fit them for the next vega concert. “who would have known, back when we were in compass, we’d end up here?” @rvmisaki​

“oh, not me. i thought that once i had to graduate from compass, everything was over,” misaki admitted, squeezing yue’s hand back. “i’m really proud of us too. you look great. vega suits you.”

“you wouldn’t happen to be familiar enough with this building to be able to give me directions, would you?” antonio asked apologetically, slouching down to speak to the young woman in the lobby. “shit, i’ve seen you on tv, haven’t i? are you famous?” @rvmisaki​

“well, i work here, so i know enough-- it depends on where you want to go,” misaki answered, offering the tall man a small smile. “oh? famous? i wouldn’t say so.... i am an idol, though. and i was on a competition show this year....”

“i’m going to be honest, i have no idea what i’m doing,” lance said with a laugh, pushing his hair back. millenium had him and junghoon doing the variety circuit for a while, and despite no one knowing who they were, they kind of gained a following– to the point that when one of the shows needed a 1-week fill in MC, they’d actually given him a call. “i feel like i’m gonna fuck all this up. i just need to apologize in advance.”

“oh... you don’t have to be sorry. i should be sorry,” misaki answered soberly. “i’m bad at these shows. my korean isn’t very good, and i get shy and nervous. i’m probably going to be so bad to be on screen with....”

“i think my favorite part of lalalilala is how much of a supervillain i got to look like,” mo said, chin resting on their hand. “now or never was fun, but if i got to look like an anime villain every comeback, i think i’d be living the dream. i wish i could just bring that era back.”

“it’s too bad that you don’t get to choose the concept. i thought that concept really suited all of  you,” misaki commented.

“you can’t just say that and then not show pictures. now i’m imaging what you must mean, and it looks terrible,” misaki giggled
