“absolutely, we haven’t released a song i wasn’t a fan of and i hope we never do. i don’t know it’s just i wish there was some consistency in the concepts, but i suppose it is a good thing we’re so versatile as a group.”

“It’s a double edged sword. If you stick to one thing, people think it’s the only thing you can do and criticize you for it. If you do a lot of things, people say you’re all over the place and criticize you for that. I think that as long as the songs are good, the concepts shouldn’t matter too much.”

“you’re right… i didn’t mean to bring down the mood, i just want to be able to develop our own style of music that we all love you know? like when one of our songs comes on the radio i want people to immediately know it’s toxxik.”

“well that’s certainly one way to look at it, but we should at least enjoy what we’re doing right? i mean yeah we get a paycheque no matter what but if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing then what’s the point?”

“I won’t get in trouble. I’d never put our group in jeopardy by getting myself in trouble, especially not in a foreign country.”

“the dark lipstick was definitely a plus, but i surprisingly liked our concept at debut. it was quirky and fun. at least during pepe, everything else i wasn’t that big of a fan of.”

“You know me well enough to know that I don’t actually care all that much. They give us a song and a dance to learn, I learn it. They put together a schedule, I show up. It’s a paycheck. I can’t really complain.”

“now listen, i like the concept of lullaby and i enjoy promoting it on tour. but i’d rather release more songs like hobgoblin. i feel like it was the concept toxxik was meant to stay with.”

“I was into the dark lipstick for Hobgoblin, honestly. As long as we don’t have to go back to what we were doing at debut, it doesn’t really make much of a difference to me.”

“how are you supposed to cook us things if we’re in hotel rooms for four months?”
