I think he’s pretty cool, sure he’s quite weird at times but other than that he’s a solid character. I adore his fighting style and character design it’s so good. I hope he gets more moments later on.

Also i refuse to believe Smoker is in his thirties. Seriously this guy? He looks pretty cool though definitely one of my favorite villain designs so far. I can’t wait to see his devil fruit ability, my guess it might have to do with the smoke.

Ding dong the wicked witch is dead. Kisaki you are an idiot, he could’ve put all that time into romancing and getting to know Hina instead he did some stupid ten year plan that he somehow expected her to fall in love with her, like yes power a way to a woman’s heart do that and not spending quality time. (I’m being sarcastic btw.) the only sad part is that Hanma lost his only friend we see his reaction in the manga and boy wait until it gets animated.

We lost a bastard which means we had to lose someone interesting. Rip Izana his life was buns the scene where he saw his mom again was so sad he did truly love her but she was awful, left him, and separated him from his sister which ruined him. He had a chance for a family with the Sano’s but he couldn’t except what happened to him. I do find it interesting that his last words were Emma, I think that shows he did love her, he just was blind by anger and took it out on her and Mikey.

The one thing that took me out of Izana’s death was all I could think of was that scene from the end of the SpongeBob movie with the Tear of the Goofy Goobers, seriously I half expected him and Kakucho to sing the Goofy Goober theme song in his dying moments.

I’ve hinted that there is a character who I absolutely can’t stand and that is Koko. Bro wants to be Barney Stinson so badly but in reality he’s Lucille Bluth in the worst way possible. All right all the beef aside I loved his backstory and his whole issues with separation Inui from Akane, it really adds such an interesting new lense on their dynamic in the Black Dragons arc. As much as I hate to admit it I understand him not letting go of the past it’s difficult but at some point you have to try to live in the present again. Which leads me to how he’s kind of similar to Takemichi they both have a strong will to not stop even if it hurts but the difference is Takemichi wants to save everyone while Koko can only focus on saving one person and viewing Seishu as Akane. Hopefully Seishu gets him out of this and gets to be seen as his own person.

Shoutout to my goats Hakkai and Angry. I didn’t talk about Hakkai all that much during the Christmas Showdown review but I loved him and how he ended up standing his ground against Taiju, he’s grown as a person and that’s really good to see. Angry’s beast mode was awesome I forgot he could do that but it was a welcome surprise. Him beating the crap out of the Haitani bros was Mwa chiefs kiss those two were unbearable and needed to be taken down a peg and I’m glad it was him who did it.

Also Hina carrying on Emma The Goat Sano’s legacy is great to see. The scene of her and Takemichi holding hands was so cute they did the scene so much justice it was just so cute I love them so much.

Guys I have so much to say, first how dare you Izana!!! Putting a hit on my goat just to break Mikey, when he said “I’ll be back for you Emma” I don’t think that’s what she imagined the reunion to be like. Man why couldn’t he just take her hostage and pretend to kill her that could’ve worked plus that could’ve been quality time spent with her if he did that. But that’s just my hope because ninety percent of this family is crazy and can’t be functional human beings.

This part is a little vent too so sorry. But scenes like Draken and Mikey’s reaction to her death got me in the feels. A lot happened last year so so seeing Draken so angry and yell was such a realistic reaction, and yes he shouldn’t have beat up Mikey who just lost his sister but at some point you just reach a breaking point and it’s just too much to handle all this tragedy. Speaking of Mikey the poor guy really needs a break, he’s been losing everyone and his whole life is falling apart due to people trying to use him and I can’t blame him for shutting down either I hope he gets some happiness after this battle.

Bro, what do we do? Tenjiku is bananas poor Mitsuya was done dirty and got hit with a brick, like shouldn’t he be in the hospital!? Also Takemichi’s childhood friend reveal was so good they did that scene justice, I hope we get more shown between the two of them.

Seeing the Haitani brothers again after like four years of being out of the series is like seeing your old childhood bully in the supermarket, it’s on sight. I’ve always hated these two jack wagons they are my second and third least favorite characters and it’s not because they are bad people they just in my opinion seem less interesting than characters like Kisaki and Hanma. This is all my opinion if you like them good for you, they can be cool characters.

To end on a high note it’s nice to see Taiju getting development, I really love his character and seeing him pray for Hakkai’s repose made me happy even though his love was deeply twisted and rotten he did truly love his siblings he just expressed it in the worst way possible.

Poor Mikey man the dude needs a nap and therapy. Honestly I understand why he eventually broke losing so many people young really wrecks you mentally and it’s hard to hold it in for so long and to tell people. Takemichi truly is such a great friend even thought Mikey did all these things he understands him and wants to save him and everyone he can. I feel like people write off Takemichi too easily for crying so much but it’s understandable why he cries he constantly has to see his friends and girlfriend die horribly, he has to trust untrustworthy people in the case of Kisaki and Hanma who screwed him over, and he is constantly injured that would definitely put a toll on someone.

Speaking of those bastards Kisaki and Hanma they got kicked out let’s go! Been praying on their downfall. Sadly law of equivalent exchange happened so losing them made someone more insufferable come into Toman. (I’ll explain who that is when he’s more relevant you can take guesses if you want)

I’m so glad that he and Hina didn’t have some super long break up arc or some weird situation like Ted and Robin after he lied about being broken up with his girlfriend. Also shout out to Emma The Goat Sano for getting them back together, I’m so glad she and Hina have such a cute relationship and care about each other so deeply.

I really liked the Shiba story line and how it wrapped up. I’m so happy Yuzuha and Hakkai can live in peace and Taiju can try to grow as a person, this might be a bit controversial but he has become one of my favorite characters, some of the reasons are a bit personal but also I thought he was very compelling and it was very satisfying when he got humbled. Yuzuha also became a fast favorite of mine I loved her compassion for others like her brother and Hina all she wanted was to protect Hakkai and she succeeded and got a well deserved peaceful ending. Also she is such a champ for not trying to pursue her feelings for Takemichi because she knows he’s already in a happy relationship, I hope she finds someone one day who treats her well.

How dare these guys tie Chifuyu up and pretty much leave Takemichi for dead against a guy who can throw a pew with ease like I get Kisaki has his unjust reasons but why does Hanma do these things for laughs? I do have to admit though these two are kinda funny together, seriously this is like a crackhead teaming up with a friendless homeschooler just pure chaos. They should’ve gotten a slice of life spinoff.

Also props to Yuzuha trying to protect Hakkai. I adore her, she’s tough and is not afraid to stand up when she needs to. I also feel bad for her she almost killed Taiju for understandable reasons but she was pushed to those extremes and if she succeeded it probably would’ve haunted her for the rest of her life. I hope she finds peace because man she needs a break.

Spoilers for season 2. Takemichi bro you couldn’t wait till after Christmas Eve to break up like seriously man it’s not that hard people do it all the time (I think, I never dated.) Hina is a better person than me because if I was dumped on Christmas Eve I would’ve been cell mates with Kazutora. Like I get her dad told him to break up with her but he couldn’t have waited at least two days!?

Well on a side note I thought him and Hina looked so freaking cute in their backstory and then there was Kisaki. I’m sorry he was so ugly, he looked like Jeffery from Class of 09. meanwhile Takemichi was too cute looking like Wilbur from Meet the Robinsons. His little cape was so adorable and the way he was ready to protect Hina who was just a stranger at the time. That’s one of the reasons I like him he’s just a nice dude unlike that bitch who looks like he’d tell too much information to a girl he just met.

I’m not beating any of these guys in a fight. I dunno what fourteen year old me was thinking. Like currently I’m at waist level with Taiju in hight and I punch like Young Sheldon throwing a tantrum so even now I’m losing to Hina so I don’t know what teenage Russo had up their sleeve but it was probably worse than now.

His grief over Yokomizo was so beautifully written he tried acting like he hated him and he was happy to kill him but in reality he still loved his friend, missed him, and probably felt a lot of guilt for his death.

I also really liked that he was helping the detective agency even though at first he was kind of trying to screw them over. Which makes sense for the perfect crime. Which can I say that is one of the coolest abilities. He uses it so cleverly too like in the bank escape episode where he made himself invisible on the security cameras. Agh he’s so smart I love it.

Honestly he is a great and underrated character who I wish got talked about more because I think he’s got one of the best stories so far in the series and thinking about it makes my eyes misty.

Battle Tendency is where I fell in love with the series and where I would watch it in the weirdest places like in a closet or the woods and on a swing set.

When I was on part 3 I was doing “Russo’s Dangerous Woods Adventure” where I would get lost and find hunting places. When I was in an abandoned house one time I heard what sounded like a grown man breathing and to this day have no clue what it was and the episode I was watching when I was exploring the house was where Enya was trying to kill Polnareff.

Onto part 4 was where I would mostly watch the show at my job but I did watch the end when I was in Florida seeing family so not only did I see Kira’s satisfying demise I got to go to Disney World.

Part 5 is my favorite part of jojo unlike most of the other parts I watched this on an actual tv and I started writing about the show. The most eventful thing that happened was after Bucciarati faced Diavolo my cat was “dying.” He went into the woods and was presumed dead. But the next morning he returned and is still alive unlike Bucciarati.

Life was pretty uneventful when I was watching part 6 up until the Dragon’s Dream fight. I was wondering why so many people hated it but right when I was about to watch it my sister told me our dog had a stroke. This was upsetting not only did me and my dog watch this show together she was also a sweetie. I knew she wasn’t going to make it to the end so that night we watched part 6’s ending together even though I wasn’t at it. Rest easy Candy. I understand why people hate that fight now. But other than that part 6 was good I liked the ending.

All right I’m saying that because I’m salty over F.Fs death it was truly a great episode. Foo fighters was such a wonderful character. Seeing her look more human when she’s not in Atroe’s corpse and not like when we first saw her stand form when we’re first introduced really shows us that she isn’t just plankton with a stand, F.F is more than that she’s got a soul and is determined to help Jolyne even if it kills her and she does. We also get to see how she truly grows from not having a real purpose and not having a problem with killing people and taking over their bodies to saving Anasui and refusing to take his body even though he told her to.
