"I can't just go givin' greenies permission to go out there right an' left, you know?"

"Why is it private?"

"Some people just ain't ready for it, bro."

She rolls her eyes. “Since you’re the only person I can stand with the authority to boss Kennedy around, then yeah, lucky for me.”

"Ken givin' you a hard time?"

"I just— Do you ever get nervous that we might not get out of here? I hate to think that way, but I can’t stop sometimes."

"Hey," He says, grabbing onto her arms softly. "it ain't so bad in here. We're gonna get out, regaurdless. Whats got you so worried?"

"We both know if you wanted to demote me. You would. I’m too good of a runner. So shut up and stop bitchin’."

"You're replaceable. Ken."

“Ah—and yet you’re a runner. How convenient. Nate, I respect you and all, you know that, but your eyesight must really be klunk.” 

"If Audrey says they're fine, you're stuck with me. Lucky for you, she says so."

A girl can dream.

"Well, you dreamt about being a runner. Look at you now."

"Oh right. You’ve got those few extra words to your title now. You’ve got all the authority in the world. So…do I kneel and kiss your feet now? Maybe go and get you a snack, your highness?"

"Kennedy," he snaps. "chill. I hope you know I can take your position away much faster than I gave it."

She sighs, “Nobody else is around here right now, right?”

"I... don't think so. Why? Whats up?"

"Why?"

He shrugs. "Private stuff, dude."

She grins, “Of course I do. So, how is all of this going?” Audrey takes a few steps around the map room, “I try not to come here often, but I get a little curious sometimes.”

He shrugs. "Not much to see. Less and less is left untouched each day, but, not much else out there except concrete."

"No problem, dude. Give me a shout if you need anything."

In that case, maybe you should take a much-needed vacation and hand the reigns over to me. I would be such an excellent authority figure.
