Guess what I finally made a priority today? ME! Granted, it was only 10 minutes on the treadmill but I feel great and I've never made that much time for me before. Decided it was beyond time for me to set aside some time for myself and make myself a priority. My recent lab results weren't great and I knew why:. No running. Now I've been lifting, stretching and removing the bad food from my diet like a crazy woman, but there is little that can replace the healing properties of a good run. So, I laced up my @brooksrunning sneakers, cranked up #ledzeppelin and ran as fast as I could handle for 10 minutes blocking out the craziness in the process. I feel like a different woman! That's right. It was 5 degrees with a real feel of -4 at this morning's Turkey Trot. Thanks to all the snow we've had in New Hampshire lately it had to be shortened from a 5K to a 4K.
