Minato having a Koyuki radar in the back of his mind and instantly sensing every time she tries to leave him, oh my god, heโs so cute. โI just want you here with meโ heโs becoming so needy and you can tell Koyun is really starting to like it ๐ฅน
Narratively this is also big because sheโs often alone at home so having someone constantly choose to be around her even when they donโt have to be means so much to her, so you can see her allowing herself to get caught up in the joy of it all.
"A marriage ending isn't a failure at all. I spent eleven years with her. We were so in love that we couldn't image life apart from each other. We got our own place, adopted a dog, and supported each other through school. I thought if tow people loved each other enough the rest would fall into place, except... love isn't everything.
And I didn't want to believe that, but we were sitting in counseling one day, talking about our future and I realized we were describing two completely different lives. Where we'd live, what kind of life we wanted, what made us happy. And it hit me that- I love this woman and this woman loved me. And after eleven years of loss, grief, career changes, we were so deeply in love... but we weren't aligned. And I kept thinking 'We just need to try harder. We can find some compromise to make this work,' because that's what you're supposed to do when you love someone, right?
But the reality was, we had just become different people. Her trade school took her in one direction, my graduate degree in another and trying to force us back into who we were five years ago wasn't coming from a place of love. It was coming from a place of fear. Fear that, if this ended, it meant we wasted eleven years. But sitting there across from her, I realized: That's not how love works.
Those eleven years happened. They were real. The dog, our home, showing up for each other through grad school and trade school. I wouldn't change a single thing because loving someone doesn't mean you're meant to stay with them forever. And letting go doesn't erase what you had. We measure marriage by whether it lasts forever or not, but what if we measured it by whether it mattered?
What if we measured it by the love we gave, the life we built, and the people we became? Because love's job isn't to last forever, it's to help you become fully completely yourself, and sometimes the most loving thing you can do is give each other permission to be yourselves, separately. But the dog doesn't know were' divorced. He just gets two Christmases now."
Pulled this from this guy Preston Rakovsky's Instagram (@prestonrack) because it is a beautiful perspective on love, marriage, and relationships in general.

Controversial take some of u will get defensive at, but there IS a right way to give advice (in my opinion). I recently discovered this when I made friends with my former bar manager, a guy in his 50s whom Iโm literally in love with (platonically lol). I frequently ask him for advice, and he doles it out to me freely, but heโs also always like โyou have it in you to figure this out.โ Heโs always like โyou donโt need me for this; you have it in you.โ Heโs always reminding me that I have the capacity and experience and emotional intelligence to work through even the toughest weeds. Thatโs the way to give advice. If youโre not bolstering your friendโs confidence, if youโre not inquiring about their own thought process, if youโre just caustically cutting them off with advice every single time, Iโm sorry but to me thatโs doing it wrong.

โDo it scaredโ โdo it aloneโ are all great tips, but my biggest takeaway from therapy is do it messy. This is especially true if youโre getting out of a burnout, which I experience often. Literally just do it messy. You donโt need to pick the perfect trail to walk, the perfect playlist to listen to, whatever the fuck it is. You donโt need to have a meticulous to do list and wake up at the exact time you planned and drink the exact amount of water you planned to drink. Like the biggest thing for people like me to remember is sometimes itโs okay to do it messy. Put on a random yt workout and just get it done in sweats. Do 5 minutes of a daunting task and go from there. Sometimes just getting up is a win during intense burnouts or depressive funks. Literally just do it messy.

Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars // Finale
In the end, They all got what they truly wished for ๐โ๏ธ
And that message has been the heart of everything. That was what he learned from being forgotten... how much he was loved. Because he genuinely never knew he was loved. He spent a lifetime rejecting all the love he was shown because he never believed they could love him until he was shown through another person's eyes and now he has to accept, fully, how loved he is.
And this! THIS. The absolute agony of remembering forgetting the most important person in your life and knowing it hurt them and knowing that you never wanted to hurt them, that so much of your life was trying desperately to find a way to stop hurting him? Oh, these two.
Discovering the power of loving yourself and loving the people who love you and trusting that you're loved and that you should exist because there is value in who you are... ugh. To be able to see that he is loved and that he is worth being loved is so powerful.
