and it breaks his resolve immediately.

the only way he can repent for making phob cry is to tell the truth - and kiss him again. yes, i miss you. yes, i never forgot you. yes, i can't love anyone like i love you.

until he finds the scar on phob's arm... one more devastating reminder that tin letting himself love phob has only hurt him. ("You were with him when he had a hard time in life. I was the one who gave him the hard time.") tin can't be the reason phob suffers anymore.

And Sun pretending he doesn't see it!

Sun couldn't cry despite drowning in grief and guilt. He wanted to feel pain that's why he ends up with a stranger almost as an act of self-dëstruction and emotional numbness.
