𝙴𝙰𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙽  𝙳𝙸𝙳𝙽'𝚃  𝙱𝙴𝙻𝙸𝙴𝚅𝙴  𝙸𝙽  𝙺𝙰𝚁𝙼𝙰  ,  not  really  anyway  .  to  him  there  was  no  heaven  ,  no  hell  ,  no  blessed  afterlife  that  he  could  be  deemed  worthy  for  simply  by  collecting  one  gold  star  after  another   and  there  was  certainly  no  god  ,  man  or  woman  ,  who  held  any  sort  of  power  over  him  .  but  with  each  day  that  he  was  graced  with  the  pleasure  of  the  petite’s  company  he  had  to  wonder  if  perhaps  there  was  some  invisible  hand  taking  note  of  each  and  every  insidious  act  he’d  committed  and  felt  compelled  to  punish  him  for  all  eternity  .  he’s  only  half  listening  to  his  proverbial  pile  of  coal  as  she  comes  barreling  into  the  living  room  and  thus  only  appears  to  latch  on  to  one  crucial  word  ;  favor  .   ‘   if  you’re  thinking  of  using  the  words  seating  chart  or  sweetheart  table  with  your  next  breath  please  know  it  pains  me  to  inform  you  that  you’re  late  ,  business  hours  ended  five  minutes  ago  .   ’    it  doesn’t  in  the  slightest  ,  but  she  already  knows  that  ,  just  like  he  knows  that  her  latest  vodka - fueled  outburst  can’t  be  boiled  down  to  something  so  simple  as  the  latest  episode  of  bridezillas  :  mob   wives  edition  .  but  if  she  thought  he  was  going  to  make  it  easy  on  her  she  had  another  think  coming  .
