"Vǫrðr mínn" means "My Guardian" in Old Norse. The Vǫrðr is a protective spirit from Scandinavian folklore, one that never abandons those it watches over.

"Ég sé þig" = "I see you". It's the moment of connection, when the fog (Hǫ) clears and the presence becomes clear.

"Aldrei langt" = "Never far". The final promise.
