Absurdity

Drawings from drapes on myself exploring “sexy” and what silhouette that means, where is the padding distributed now? Keep Kim K in mind when doing this, the lips are carried through. Should I use the fat in all typically sexy areas?

Out of all the ‘stains’ that I made, the hot sauce was my favourite, I don't like hot sauce which made it more gross, the colour is nice, it gives a more orange finish, does not smell good, smells absurd. 

Feeling like a mess, my clothes are on backwards. I like the idea of smart clothes becoming overly casual or messy

3.stuffing falling out and a closer look at layering. I have had an idea that layering could be something that works for all 3 feelings? an item of clothing for each and then you get dressed as you please? does the outfit all together =absurd

I have been desperately trying to figure out how I will come to the shape of silhouette of my garment/s? What will it look like? I have been enjoying using padding on the body to imitate where body fat would appear if we felt one f the three things, how could the stuffing show the emotion? With mess I believe the stuffing would be falling out, like a teddy bear. If I was feeling sexy, the padding would be in the bum and the boobs and push both of them to the extremes. For hungry you would see the “roles” that I feel appear whenever I eat something small or you'd see the bloated belly I get. 

The black pages of Kim Kardashians selfish book are what made me question what we think is “sexy” in modern society. Her bum is ALWAYS OUT which made me think... maybe my bum should be out, in the most ridiculous way it could be???? HOTMESS!!! ARE THE TWO EMOTIONS COMBINING?

How can I show that I feel messy, is it about chaos and things being in the wrong order? I liked the pulling of the the knit in this one, it makes me wonder what would happen if I let things unravel? 

drapes and ‘stuffing’ for the three different mood. here I am seeing how each one could use stuffing in a different way. Do I make one garment that means you can move it to your mood depending on the stuffing and where it is? 

I have been reflecting a lot on my journal recently, while I'm not currently writing in it I’m enjoying the uncomfortable nature of reading back through and imagining how these three emotions manifest in one another, that I could possibly feel messy and sexy at the same time, or feel sexy and hungry at the same time or messy and hungry at the same times. I am starting to imagine clothes that inhabit the nature of more than one emotion at a time and therefore heightening the meaning and the ridiculousness of it. As if they are maths sums? Can I go sexy + hungry = mess? Could be interesting xx
