As a gray ace lesbian trans gal, I've witnessed first hand how hypersexual some trans positives spaces can be, overwhelming so in that. I've been on discord servers where I felt wrong and inadecuate if i wasn't open to sharing my nudes with others or doing e-sex or flirting with everyone around because that's what everyone did and that's what everyone expected.

This doesn't mean there shouldn't be spaces like that, it is good that everyone can find what they want here and there, but also we should be open to recognising that this happens and that it makes certain demographics not feel welcome.

Because a while ago I read someone saying that "acephobia happens on cis/straight spaces but not in trans/lesbian ones. Trans/lesbian gals who are asexual don't experience any kind of discrimination" and i was like... are you sure?

Do you really think, with how hypersexual a lot of trans spaces are, that no asexual gals around you feel uncomfortable or alienated or unwelcome in there? Discrimination is not just "calling someone a slur" you know, it can take many forms.

saw this review on Casualties: Uknown's steam demo and it made me disappointed that a fellow rain world fan would say such a thing. ANyways, it inspired me to create this image.

it smelled cigarette smoke. everyone was in the room except for the host’s sister that had been put in charge of chaperoning. it didn’t know that she smoked. it had been a bit sad that she wasn’t more involved in the festivities earlier. its heart raced a little at the thought of getting some time alone with her.

she startles as it slowly opens the door to the porch, “woah you scared me, what are you doing up? fuck it wasn’t the smoke was it i just kept the window open so i could hear if anything was going on”

“no i was just… i got uhm,” it tries to think of something cool, “scared… of the dark?”

she laughs and puts her cigarette out, “oh wow you’re shaking like crazy, you must be freezing without a jacket. c’mere”

she pulls it in and wraps an arm around it. its heart starts racing. it feels like it might explode. she’s so warm. it likes the lingering smell of the smoke. it’s comfortable, and it is suddenly dawning how tired it is being up this late. it’s dozing off while standing.

“hey, let’s go inside first,” she guides it inside to the couch.
