STAY HYDRATED!!!

There is no place in this world that can save you from YOU!!! Today I just realised why it is so important to stay hydrated and it is not about a single glass of water.

Just like a body, a life need to be hydrated.

After a long flight today (without jet lag fortunately), I met my besties. I know the trip and the flight were designed to be a fun trip with new bunch of people but somewhere in between, I felt so dehydrated. Yes people can dehydrate people by their words or actions. I wish I could scream this out loud yet my insanity hold me back.

So when you're feeling like lost, alone, or worse, belong to nowhere, please find your circle, the ones that can fulfill your thirst. And I choosed my bestie. Talking with them is like a charging for a phone. I feel so much better. No, it's not a complaining session or a heart to heart session about the trip, nothing like that. We always talk randomly and somehow still connected no matter where it leads or how crazy it goes.

I love you guys 😍 You might not know how this short meeting can comfort me sooooo much, healing a lost part of me. Meanwhile, home, I am ready to coming home.

BETWEEN ENOUGH & DESERVE

Pernah donk pastinya ngerasa, 'Kayaknya gue belum cukup... untuk... .' Entah berapa kali deh sepanjang umur sampai umur sekarang. BUT, jarang banget yang pernah bilang, 'Gue rasanya nggak pantas untuk... .'

Don't worry guys, manusiawi banget! Kita (gue aja kali, ya?) manusia memang dilahirkan dg naluri untuk komplain 😆 Makin banyak yg dilihat eh seringnya makin pengen ini itu, makin merasa nggak cukup! Never Enough ala OST Greatest Showman.

Trus kapan cukupnya? Kapan sih kita bisa enough? Udah jalan ke sana sini masih rasanya nggak cukup, sementara itu penghasilan rasanya nggak pernah cukup juga untuk memenuhi gaya hidup 😙 Terus jadinya miris, sedih sendiri, depresi, dst.

Again, it's totally normal. Memang nggak mudah untuk merasa enough. Walau sudah dikasih tahu pun, tetap pada praktiknya susah. Salahkan panca indera, and for me, I blame my eyes. I don't want something that I don't see simply because I don't know. So how to overcome this? Di rumah aja, kunci kamar, kurung diri? Serius mau begitu? 😅

No, you don't have to, nggak perlu ekstrim gitu. Apalah artinya hidup kalau nggak ada 'cobaannya', 'godaannya'? Hidup memang pilihan, serba memilih sekalipun kita memilih untuk tidak memilih dan berakhir dengan pilihan yg dipilihkan oleh orang lain. Padahal punya pilihan itu privilege. Harusnya kita pakai baik2, termasuk belajar memilih 'pikiran' kita.

It's all in your mind. Kapan bisa cukup? Simple, di saat kamu berpikir kamu cukup. Be grateful. Pikiran kita tuh seperti 2 sisi mata uang. Di saat kita merasa tidak cukup, di saat itu dg jumlah yg sama banyaknya kita 'sebenarnya' bisa merasa cukup. Coba deh renungkan sendiri. Kita selalu membandingkan ke atas, bagus sih, untuk motivasi cuma ya, kalau ke atas, enough seems to be limitless. Menderita aja gitu kayaknya, ibarat kepala dongak mulu lama2 kan pegel, capek. Jadi harus liat ke bawah mulu? Hahahaha... sama pegelnya, dul!

Once you can control your mind, time to take a step forward, BALANCE. Karena semua yang serba terlalu itu nggak bagus. Vitamin aja kalau kelebihan jadi penyakit toh. Nah, deserve iki opo??

Naaa, it's just a part of my sentimental's side. Kalau orang suka ngerasa nggak cukup, gue malah suka ngerasa I don't deserve this. Bukannya bersombong soal yg di Atas kayaknya sayang banget sama gue, when people treat me good, I feel like I should treat them better simply because I don't deserve this. They're not supposed to be that kind to me. Ditarik2 ujung2nya 'sepertinya' karena I feel as if I am not good enough and that's why I didn't deserve what I got. Lucu emang! Hidup, ya, begitu! Hahaha!

At the end of the day, life is about controlling your mind. Have a balance in life and remember all is well. The only thing you can control in this life is your mind, your point of view on how you want to see and go with your life while pursuing your goals. No goals? Have one after another, it's kind a whip for me to continue life. Try everything, remember no one can escape this life ALIVE 😆

Traveling Teach Me This!!!

People traveling for different reasons. What is yours?

I used to traveling to see the world. But like a ripley's once said, whether you believe it or not, the cities are getting more look alike day by day. Yes, the culture and the food still vary, yet people nowadays mostly seem to traveling to POST on Instagram.

I don't think I am one of those. And it's up to me totally 😎

For me now, traveling is a journey of questioning my way of life at certain degree (and different from time to time).

So there was one time when I traveled in group, the group kept on taking many photos, like 10 shots on one place and then in the next less than 10mins, my WA group were full with please be my guest to guess on how many photos are taken. YES MANY.

Then suddenly one of the member of the group approached me and said, 'I don't like 'this' group'. I frowned and asked why. Well long story short, the person dislike some habits of other members of the group, that they're like 'over everything' in some ways. Yet in my opinion, it's still normal because I understand both. I mean perhaps they haven't met after a long time or maybe they just wanted to create moments, what is wrong with that? And that's my 'AWAKE' moments.

Why? Because that's when I realised, we don't have unlimited time in life. That I have to choose MY WAY. Less complaining and don't do things you dislike instead. I still travel to experience the nature whilst the interaction with the people within is merely a sidekick, a bonus. That I actually blessed to have a position to choose. That hey, you, yes, everyone, when you have time to travel, you have a full right to choose the way that YOU WANT IT. Even if you're part of the group, you still at the first place have a choice if you wanna be a member of the 'unknown' group. If you don't like group traveling then don't do it. Same goes if you're not a fan of solo traveling.

RELATIONSHIP...

Mumpung cuaca lagi cakep and I seems to have quite some times.

Berawal (seringnya) dari 'nguping' bisik2 tetangga, there are so many singles asking for the secret of a long last relationship in different occasion.

'Apa sih rahasianya bisa akur?'

Or further, 'Gimana bisa sih anaknya kecil2 tapi udah mandiri gitu?'

Then, 'Ya ampun mesra banget, so sweet lho having surprise anniversary!'

Back to the time when, 'Gimana sih bisa ketemunya? And how you two realised that you two are meant to be together?'

Of course, I am not following the whole conversation but it's enough to know that, there is no 100% valid secret ingredients for this relationship thing. Listening to thousand stories won't guarantee you to have the relationship that you dream of. You need to experience one yourself to know what to do with it. Trust (or train) your instinct, believe that it gives you fair judgement towards your partner. Just as simple as that.

Remember, relationship is not a path that you can follow to get the same results. It's more like a study of understanding of your partner. You wanna make an everlasting relationship? Then go enroll the everlasting study of understanding of your partner class as well. Don't missed the chapter of your love language. It will help, prolly.

To be frank, I don't blame those singles who seem to thirst for fairytale relationship in this modern life. Who don't want to have such relationship?? But here is the thing, the story of others will teach you a lot but at the end of the day, it is you who have to solve your own puzzle. But first find a partner!! And later on if you wanna know if your partner is the one? Go figure it out. Can you accept the plus and minus as well? Are you guys sharing the same vision in your relationship?
