A lot going on here...The guitar is by Rick Toone (love the arm rest). The pickups are by Q-Tuner (notice how clear they sound). The tuning is Robert Fripp's New Standard Tuning. Notice Fabio's right hand. I assume he's a Guitar Craft student.
OK, so it looks like when you post an image in Tumblr now, if it’s 1000px or more, it’s automatically embedded in panorama format. That sucks.
Fender Mustang from the new “Player Series”. This looks cool, but I would like the same thing with the old whammy.
I posted this as a reply on YouTube, but I thought I should save it here as well: Guitars are theoretically set up for "equal temperament" pitches. For each note, the next half step up should be 1.059 times that pitch (or 2^(1/12). Many fretted and keyboard instruments are set up like this. This is different from "just intonation", which is based on whole number ratios. E.g. a perfect 5th up from A=440 in just intonation would be 440 * 3/2, or 660. In equal temperament, a perfect 5th is 440 * (2^(7/12)) or 659.3. So there is always a slight "error". But equal temperament is what lets us play in different keys, b/c in just intonation the right notes for one key might be wrong for another. Fret positions on a guitar involve even bigger compromises, because the correct position of a 2nd fret for the 3rd string is not necessarily the same as for the 2nd fret of the 1st string, so fret placement is a "good enough" affair. With True Temperament the 2nd fret on the 3rd string is the right equal temperament pitch, and the 2nd fret on the first string is right too. This then also fixes problems with unisons and octaves between strings, so things sound smoother all along the fret board. So "True Temperament" isn't meant to change guitars over to "Just Intonation" but to fix errors in their "Equal Temperament" pitches. What stuns me is that there are people who prefer having their guitar out of tune because that's what they're used to. This is where habit and tradition become bad things.

Check out how he holds his pick. I’ve heard of this, but never seen it “in the wild”.
I live in NY, and I ordered a Harley Benton guitar from https://thomannmusic.com, and thought I would keep some notes here on the experience.
I had no guitars, and needed one, and wanted a Les Paul style. I tried several Epiphone auctions on eBay, but they always ended up exceeding my budget, so I looked for alternatives. I heard good things about Harley Benton, and found a model I like: https://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_sc_custom_lemon_flame.htm
Interestingly, you don’t find a lot of HB guitars on eBay.
I placed the order on the website on March 1, 2020. I also ordered a gig bag. Total price came to €203.80. I received a confirmation email which said I would have an account created. The next day (March 2) they emailed a link for me to set up my password. I checked my account and the order looked right. But each day after, nothing seemed to change.
On March 6, I got an email stating my order was shipped, with a tracking number. I clicked that and found they were using DHI. The email also gave me contact information for a rep. I checked my card and the amount totaled $238.07 with a $8.33 foreign transaction surcharge.
My order had some good tracking info. It showed it coming from Frankfurt, and it indicated at what step it was at in the international shipping. On March 9, tracking info said it arrived in the U.S., but didn’t say where. On March 12, I got a USPS notice saying delivery was attempted , but they needed a signature. On March 13, I picked it up at my local USPS. No extra costs were incurred. The box was a 45″ x 22″ x 8″ rectangle. Inside, the guitar had its own box, packed OK w/ packing paper. The guitar was physically in good shape, and they remembered the gig bag.
