November Writing Challenge EXO edition

This month I’m writing a short story every single day that revolves all around EXO members. Inspiration is got from online prompts, conversations with friends, real life events of my own and send in prompts from my Curious Cat (you can still send in prompts if you’d like). So far there have been 8 stories, of those 8 stories 3 are in two parts. I am really enjoying this challenge so far and hope you will enjoy my stories too! Please give them a read and comment on the ones you’ve enjoyed. All Chapters will be uploaded on my AO3 account (FromIdeaAndBeyond) but the stories in the weekends will be interactive tweet fics, so look out for those

Ethereal Dreams: Chapter Fourteen!

I am SO SORRY that it took me this long to upload a new chapter. Life has been happening a lot to me lately. BUT I finished my master now (and passed it HEUJ!), have a full time job that I’m settling into AND I have my own place again. In a week I will have a week long holiday which means I will probably be able to write more!

Sometimes I really wish I wasn’t so desperate for people’s approval. Sometimes I just want to do something for me and just me and bask in that joy, but I can never do that. My brain won’t allow me to just enjoy it. I need to tell people and I need them to approve in order for me to enjoy it fully.

I love writing, I love creating my own little world and different scenarios I love think about all the possibilities within that world. Yet here I am not being able to put a single word to paper because I don’t feel like anyone cares or is invested in the story. ‘Then get a beta reader to approve, help you along?’ I hear you think. Yet, I don’t have friends on the internet. I don’t open up easily and frankly I am a little ashamed of my own writing. Not because of the explicit contents, definitely not, I don’t care about that. No I am ashamed because I honestly believe I am not a good writer.

So here I am. wanting to finish writing a story that I’ve been working on an planning for months. A story that I already shared half of online. Yet I am stuck in this vicious of not feeling good enough to finish this and not daring to ask people if I could possibly bother them with my story.
