He's captured in the tension that aches between them; it becomes exceedingly evident in the way their lips brush together like silk that this is where Wilhelm is supposed to be. Despite the hesitation and confusion blurring his mind, Wilhelm can't deny how perfectly Simon fits against him. He can't pretend he doesn't notice how their bodies work together through silent questions and frighteningly easy trust.

Simon shifts, knocking his hips against Wilhelm's knees. Wilhelm drops the hand clinging to Simon's open shirt and slips his grip tight around his waist, pulling the boy forward to stand between his legs. Simon stumbles closer, and their noses knock together as his fingers brace across the tops of Wilhelm's thighs. It's messy and awkward, but rather than shying from the intimacy, all Wilhelm wants to do is dive deeper into it, so long as Simon is there with him.

Wilhelm lets out a trembling breath as Simon tilts his head, his lips shifting away, which Wilhelm tries to follow. Simon deliberately drags his nose across Wilhelm's cheek, pressing tender kisses past his jaw and landing on his neck. It feels heavenly. He barely notices his own whimper as he relishes in the way Simon's breath feathers against the sensitive skin there. Wilhelm pulls the boy closer, nearly locking his ankles behind Simon's waist, flushing his body flat against his own, where he sits on the window sill.

An amused smirk flits across Wilhelm's neck, causing heat to flush across his chest. Still, he can't be bothered with embarrassment as his mind narrows on how Simon's fingers dance upward, nearing Wilhelm's hips. There's a flame that tingles above the waistband of his pyjamas, where his sweater has lifted and Simon's fingers stroke his skin, lighting a fire between them both. Simon anchors his lips back to Wilhelms, eager enough that Wilhelm has to press a hand behind him for support, to keep from toppling out of the window behind him.

Wilhelm kisses back with the same fervour, hands moving to tangle themselves in Simon's curls. He tugs gently and tilts Simon's head back, deepening the angle, eliciting a moan from the boy as his lips part for Wilhelm to explore further. Wilhelm's tongue slips past Simon's teeth, and there's a slight whine, sending a hungry rush through Wilhelm. He's about to hitch his thigh higher on Simon's hip when—

"Wille?" there's a voice that’s far away enough it almost doesn't register. "—Wille," he hears it for a second time, and his skin starts to prickle in every place Simon brushes his fingers or strokes his lips.

Wilhelm forces Simon back with a light shove, and the boy stumbles; confusion swarming his features, "what—" He begins, but Wilhelm cuts him off.

"Shh," Wilhelm claps his hand over Simon's mouth — something which seems to be a pattern for the two — and presses a finger to his own lips signalling for the boy to be quiet.

"Wille, where are you?" August's voice echoes in their silence, and Wilhelm's chest squeezes, knowing they've nearly been caught. His fearful eyes land on Simon as he waits for August to call out again, and when he hears more movement in the distance, Wilhelm elects not to take his chances.

He is swift to grab Simon by the front of his shirt, yanking him into the next room and pressing him back against the wall beside the wide archway. Wilhelm keeps both hands anxiously knotted in the material of Simon's shirt, ignoring the amused look he gets as he peeks around the corner.

There's a set of shoes that scuff against the wood floors, and Wilhelm jumps closer to Simon in an attempt to keep himself hidden. It becomes rather apparent just how ridiculous Simon seems to think the situation is when the rise and fall of the boy's muffled laughter vibrates through their intimately close stance.

"Wille?" August questions into the air just on the other side of the wall. Wilhelm goes rigid, afraid even a single breath will give them away. "Where have you gone," August mumbles to himself, and his annoyance rings clear.

A mischievous glint that Wilhelm is becoming increasingly acquainted with dances across Simon's eyes. "Where have you–" He silently begins to tease, mocking August's frustration. Wilhelm rushes down, closing his lips over Simons, shutting the boy up. Simon takes a pause, not registering why Wilhelm dove down to kiss him so quickly, and when he does, he practically melts into Wilhelm's arms.

The kiss doesn't last long despite Wilhelm getting himself lost in the pleasure of it. He's dragged back to reality when he hears August's footsteps grow faint in the distance. Wilhelm pulls back, and their wet lips pop apart; Wilhelm's eyes gaze down at Simon's dilated pupils that are inches away. Their breaths come heavy.

That's one way to quiet the boy, Wilhelm smirks, satisfied with himself as he takes a step back. He doesn't miss the way Simon stops himself from reaching up to draw Wilhelms mouth back on his.

Wilhelm's stomach does small summersaults, fluttering in every direction. He takes a second to ground himself, "we should–," he starts breathlessly, nodding in the direction they came. "Before he– you know." He finishes softly, and Simon nods in understanding as he bites back a grin on his lower lip. Wilhelm can't stop his eyes from shifting down as he drags his tongue along his own lips, savouring the way Simon had felt.

"Let's go." Wilhelm murmurs, flustered by Simon's self-satisfied gaze, which follows him as he slowly shuffles through the door and down the hall. All Wilham can hope to do is manage one foot in front of the other without toppling forward due to the lightheadedness Simon has spread through him.

He makes sure Simon is trailing close behind, a shy smirk meeting Simon's smug one. They make their way back to the common room where the movie they've abandoned is projected against the furthest wall.

Wilhelm silently opts to sit on the floor in the back corner of the room, as far away from August as possible, not wanting to attract attention by moving to his previous seat. He's pleased when Simon follows suit, finding a comfortable space near Wilhelm's side.
