the price of omniscience

the eye sees all

my crown to my pine in the ground

a mother, a girl, an angel

the eye cannot call

she swirls in her socket,

hoping to catch a glimpse of self

an eye for an eye

the eye never blinks

the rain cools all,

the rain rinses you pure,

but the eye cannot feel the land beneath

she knows every mouse and every beast,

she knows of all from west to east,

the eye will never sing

nor dance, nor love

merely she weeps

perched and nested,

watching

will her observations guide her from temptations?

or will the price of omniscience blind her,

we’ve been talking for over a month but haven’t hung out bcs ive been busy or out of town and never free. i hate not making plans and he lives an annoying distance (not bad, but annoying) which is frustrating.

anyways today, he apparently must’ve noticed my distance, so he calls one of my bsfs and asks about me and him and where we stand and my feelings and such. this throws me off bcs he was talking about how he’s never met anyone like me (fml i’m being mpdg again) and he doesn’t want to fumble and how i’m so beautiful and shit. shittt.

he’s acc a nice guy!! (meaning he’s not my type but we won’t talk about that) idk. do i still end it? i wanna be single rn. i’m a little out of his league and he’s a bit of a slut. idk.
