“I’m not lying,” he said, getting a little frustrated. He sighed, fiddling with his quill. “Look, I — if it was me I would’ve owned up to it by now. It wasn’t me. Promise.”

Rowan noticed him getting slightly angered, so she figured now was a good time to stop. “I’m just messing with you, mate. I know it wasn’t you.”

“When do you ever have time for anyone’s shit?”

"I — you know what, fine, believe what you want, I s’pose," he said, sighing. "I’m just saying, I was just as surprised to find this as you."

"You're a terrible liar, Scott."

"But I didn’t—" He sighed in defeat. "If you want I can… I don’t know, help you find out who did it or—"

"Nope. Helping is done. You're officially the one at fault here."

"I already told you, it wasn’t me."

"Too late, Puff. I'm blaming you."

"You like me? Should I be honoured?"

"Given that I dislike 99.8% of the people in this school, I would say so."

"Make me."

"You're lucky I like you, Lestrange. Otherwise your ending wouldn't have been a happy one."

"Absolutely not."

"Don't knock it until you try it."

"I will." she smiled back, leaning in to kiss Rowan once. 

Rowan wrapped her arms around Elba's waist, pulling her closer as they kissed.

"Maybe someone took it."

"He’s a twat. Not my type at all." Elba pushed her hair back, "Thanks, that really means a lot, seeing i’m one of three." she laughed. 

"Alright, I'll take your word for it." Rowan smiled softly. "Not a lot of people are able to receive an honor such as this.  Consider yourself lucky, love."
