  He kissed the top of her head, and rested his head on top of hers. “Love you, Bean.”

When he said those words, she let out a little sigh that she didn't know she had been holding. "I love you too Vegetable." 

"Besides you?" he asked, teasing. "Never."

She smiled shyly and nodded, resting her head on his chest. "Me neither."

"I don't know...you probably have better things to do..."

"It’s not against the rules!"

"It says it's against the rules right there!" She lifted her hand to point to a sign that clearly stated you were not allowed to lean over the edge.

"I s’pose so," he said, shrugging. "Is she going to give us a make-up assignment, do you know?"

"I have no idea, I hope so. Will you help me make it up?"
