Don't stop till you break it all through

“Okay, so say me and Will did that awesome move from the end of Dirty Dancing sometime during the party,” Blake proposed, waving his hand around excitedly and sloshing some of his champagne onto the ground. “Which one of us would be holding the other up, and which one of us would be flying?”

Jay looked at Blake with a confused expression on his face, "Dirty Dancing? Dude, there are kids around here" he replied not being one to watch the movie. He caught up on a lot of the action movies as soon as he arrived at Auradon but there not many chick flick movies and definitely not one called Dirty Dancing. However after he thought about what Blake said he was even more confused then before, "Wait flying? Alright I give, what's the move?"

She didn’t do parties, she said, even went as far to say she wasn’t going to the biggest one of the year. Yet there she was, standing off the side of the dance floor, arms crossed as she pouted at Jay. It was his fault she was here, she was going out of her way to make sure he knew just how miserable he was making her. “I thought they’d have better taste in music,” she groaned, rolling her head and her eyes simultaneously as yet another happy pop song blasted through the speakers. She got that this was a happy occasion, but did they really have to continue to play what seemed like the same thing the radio played on a daily basis? “Is it cake time yet? At this point that’s the only thing I’m holding out for. And it better be a good flavor… like strawberry.”

Although Mal seemed like she was regretting her decision of agreeing to go to the wedding with him, Jay was still pleased with himself for getting her to agree in the first place. Sure it took a lot of convincing and some begging but Jay couldn't let his friend all alone in her room while everyone had the time of their lives. Jay laughed at he stopped dancing in his spot, "Okay so it sounds like they keep playing the same songs with the same beat but they are a bit catchy" he said with a shrug. He smiled at Mal before turning his attention to the cake and wondering if they can guess what flavor cake it was from where they were standing. "Do you think we even need to wake for the married couple? Or can we just go and get it whenever we want? I hope it's strawberry and chocolate...or like an ice cream cake."

“Hmmm, which do you think I was better at, marriage officianting or totally embarrassing Will with my toast?” Mary Kate giggled, holding up a glass of sparkling rosé to clink against the wedding guest next to her’s drink.

Jay laughed before clicking his glass with Mary Kate's, "I don't know I think I liked your Will embarrassing speech far more than you officiating it" he said before taking a drink. "Poor Will, you think if Blake wasn't by his side he might have actually made a run for it?"

“Wait, don’t drink that!” Nova insisted, reaching out a hand to cover the cup of punch. “My chameleon’s gone missing, and he likes to take baths in things that fall on the red side of the color wheel, so… I just wanted to check that he’s not in there first, is that okay?”

Jay stopped mid drink when he heard Nova's voice, he was currently waiting for Mal to see if he can convince her on a dance, when his blonde friend stopped him. "You know Nova this is the second wedding you lose that chameleon, I'm starting to think he might be running away from you and your crazy ideas." Jay joked while remembering the last wedding they had spent their time looking for Flynn and Blaise.
