The government have deployed face recognition on protesters before (and this was on pro Palestinians, not the alt right terrorists), so cover your face as best you can. Leave your smart phone at home, bring a burner, and bring a slip of paper of contacts in case you need to call someone for help.

Be very careful of sharing posts that clearly show anti fascist protesters’ faces if this is not coming from their own accounts, especially if they are not well known figures. Their safety, freedom, and livelihood are already at risk showing up.

All anyone needs to do, in order to deserve recognition of their basic humanity, and to deserve basic human decency - AND ALSO TO DESERVE COMPLETE, COMPREHENSIVE, AND CORRECT HEALTHCARE - is be an alive person.

These are not things that need to be earned, or things that can be lost.

I'm not dating or married or related to anyone I live with, and our household of four adults can't get any kind of financial or food or housing aid because we count as three separate households despite our semi-blended finances and living together for a decade. There are laws that have been proposed (at least, I don't know if any passed) that limit housing to nuclear families.
