just so everyone knows Facebook and Instagram aren't down because of some technical problem. a former employee released data and research that revealed the extent to which Facebook has profited off of and intentionally allowed things like hate speech, misinformation, and violence on the platform (as well as the negative impact of Instagram on young women in particular), they're being faced with a lawsuit, and as a result their stock critically dropped more than 5% in the past 18 hours. something tells me Facebook isn't actually down. this is a diversion.
