The Hometown Debut – 1995-1998 singing more than she talked and dancing more than she walked, faye was quickly put into voice lessons & dance classes. then nirvana was reached when her parents found the local theater community, and the energetic toddler became an excited member. when not skipping across a stage, she in DC filming toy commercials; a child's dream.

The Broadway State of Mind – 1999-2001 scouted while performing in a local production of The Sound of Music, faye was invited to audition for an upcoming revival of Annie on broadway. despite her talent and comfortability on the stage, her age causes her to only be considered for the show's large ensemble. she ends up cast, and soon her weekends and school breaks are spent in the big apple. when her contract ended, it was back to her hometown for a year before she was invited back to audition for the title role. soon it was back to new york, but full-time. throw in a law & order: svu episode here, a sesame street episode there, and soon faye's main residences were the stage and the audition room.

The Stage to the Silver Screen – 2002-2005 a stroke of fate brings universal producer douglas wick to the martin beck theatre in january 2002 after the buzz kept building about the budding ingénue in the curly red wig. suddenly faye was sending in a tape reciting a monologue in a british accent then doing it again in-person after being flown to los angeles. headlines soon read: newcomer cast as wendy darling in upcoming peter pan film. new york skyscrapers quickly became queensland soundstages. then the house of mouse came knocking, desperate to be the owner of the sure-fire golden goose. a starring role as clara in the nutcracker, a three album deal with hollywood records, and new representation with CAA… that's just the beginning.

The Boom – 2006-2009 faye is anywhere and everywhere. her imdb credits are enviable for how green to the industry she is. her music is exceeding every expectation. if she is not on set, she's touring. if she's not touring, she's auditioning. it's a bad year if she doesn't have more than two movies coming out. the awards are starting to build up, too. a golden globe, vma, ama, kids & teen choice, and a grammy to top it off (the youngest to win for best pop vocal album, mind you). it is here where her fame is an objective fact – there's a fan/paparazzi ambush at lax to prove it. there is no box you can force her into. one moment faye is dazzling in a disney channel movie, the next she is singing to a sold-out crowd, the next she's working with acclaimed directors. hollywood icons flock to offer their mentorship, anything to lift up and protect the shiny crown jewel.

The Break – 2009-2012 suddenly faye is nowhere. despite playing sandy in a remake of grease, when the film premieres in fall of 2009 she only attends the red carpet and one day of press. the rest of the press tour conflicted with her new class schedule. yes, it's true! hollywood's princess is on hiatus to go to college. her fans are reassured that it's only for a year. a reset. a way to stave off the burnout nearly eight years in the making. but soon one year turned to two. her high-profile relationship came to an end. her magazine presence faded. it was almost as if she was never there. why is she even here? quickly became where did she even go? but faye was happy, too happy, to be “normal.” by the end of her three-year degree program, she was almost ready to kiss the screen goodbye until…

The Return – 2012-2016 a favor to be in a college friend's short film becomes her gateway drug after so long in acting recovery. the call to her manager was made: she wants back. sides are sent, auditions scheduled. what intended to be a soft reintroduction became a whirlwind of wins. every studio wants her in whatever way they can get her. universal and disney, her old friends, are the first to bask in the faye nolan wealth. in 2012 alone she scores starring roles as sophie in mamma mia!, the voice of odette in an animated swan lake, and princess aurora in a live-action sleeping beauty. the next years solidify that hollywood will always have a throne for her. 

The Neverending Peak – 2017-present day the perfect climax to the grand restoration faye's title as hollywood's princess culminates in an oscar win for her portrayal of hollywood's queen, marilyn monroe. faye is once again everywhere. she joins the marvel and star wars universes, works with the best-of-the-best. she even finds time to return to her roots, gracing the gershwin stage as elphaba and reminding everyone why she has the career she has. in 2024, faye made history as the youngest to achieve an egot by winning a tony for her role as daphne in a broadway adaptation of bridgerton. very few would argue if you claimed faye was one of the most talented individuals working in the industry today. the real question is, what else could she even achieve? only time will tell…

HELLO GORGEOUS GIRL!

the  one  where  she  lives  her  best  life  -  day  in  my  life  in  my  f.r.i.e.n.d.s.  dr

6:45am:  be  given  a  heart  attack  by  my  alarm  clock  blaring  the  radio  to  wake  me  up.  inevitably  hit  snooze  and  cuddle  back  up  with  my  dog,  daisy,  who  also  doesn't  want  to  get  up.

6:55am:  drag  myself  out  of  bed  and  throw  on  my  “west  village  bum”  outfit  (aka  a  matching  sweatsuit)  to  take  daisy  for  a  short  little  walk  around  the  block  to  the  park  by  my  building

7:15am:  feed  daisy  and  get  ready  for  work!  best  believe  i'm  jumping  between  npr  and  my  favorite  pop  radio  station  as  i  do  my  makeup  and  put  on  my  outfit  for  the  day  –  always  with  a  touch  of  pink.

7:35am:  take  daisy  out  to  the  park  one  more  time  before  bringing  her  back  up  to  my  apartment.  she  always  insists  on  stopping  at  monica  and  rach's  because  monica  always  gives  her  something  –  sadly  today  isn't  a  bacon  day,  but  daisy  is  happy  with  her  baby  carrot.

7:45am:  return  to  monica  &  rach's  for  coffee  and  a  little  brekkie.  monica  is  trialing  her  veggie  scramble  so  i  traded  her  a  chocolate  chip  muffin  for  a  plate.  ross,  joey,  and  chandler  are  over,  too.  ross  and  i  bicker,  per  usual.  chandler  and  i  quip  off  each  other,  also  per  usual.  what  isn't  usual,  is  that  i  swear  i  catch  him  staring  at  me  a  few  times  out  of  the  corner  of  my  eye.

8:15am:  hop  on  the  1  train  to  midtown  with  chandler  'cause  his  work  is  a  couple  blocks  from  mine.

8:35am:  time  to  clock  into  barbie  world!!  i  have  meetings  galore  today,  but  they're  all  for  exciting  projects!  gotta  finalize  packaging  specs  for  this  year's  holiday  doll,  i  have  a  storyboard  meeting  for  a  commercial  for  the  cali  girl  line,  brainstorm  meeting  with  my  senior  designer  –  and  that's  just  before  lunch!

1:50pm:  i  got  a  call  from  chandler  inviting  me  out  for  a  quick  lunch.  he's  been  doing  this  a  lot  more  recently,  but  i  think  it's  just  because  the  breaks  in  our  meetings  seem  to  line  up  really  well.  we  grab  a  quick  dollar  slice  and  another  coffee  before  it's  back  to  the  grind!

5:30pm:  work  day  is  over!!  i  become  a  human  sardine  with  the  rest  of  manhattan  and  take  the  1  back  to  the  west  village.  i  take  daisy  for  a  quick  walk  to  the  park  to  play  and  help  her  burn  off  some  energy. 

6:30pm:  i  meet  the  gang  at  central  perk  to  watch  phoebe  perform!  and  man…it  was  definitely  a  performance!

6:45pm:  chinese  takeout  night  at  the  girls!  i  change  into  comfy  clothes  and  bring  daisy  down  to  the  apartment  and  give  her  her  dinner,  and  i  watch  joey  like  a  hawk  as  he  unpacks  the  bag  because  last  time  he  snuck  himself  one  of  my  crab  rangoons  and  i  will  not  have  a  repeat  of  that.  daisy  is  in  heaven  because  everyone  is  giving  her  unlimited  attention,  and  she  has  her  biggest  begging  eyes  on  full  display.  joey  is  a  baby  and  not-so-subtly  gives  her  pieces  of  his  sesame  chicken.  i  let  it  slide  because  he  didn't  take  one  of  my  rangoons.

7:45pm:  take  daisy  for  a  nice,  long  walk  in  a  loop  where  we  hit  washington  square  and  union  square  to  make  sure  she  isn't  a  menace  for  the  rest  of  the  night.

8:30pm:  shower  &  wind  down!  i  turn  on  the  tv  as  background  noise  and  snuggle  onto  the  couch  with  daisy  and  my  sketch  binder.  i've  got  a  design  meeting  in  a  few  days  i  need  to  have  ample  ideas  for  consideration  so  i  sketch  and  shade  away.

9:45pm:  daisy  and  i  migrate  to  the  bed.  i  read  my  book  and  sip  my  peppermint  tea  until  i  finally  feel  sleepy.

10:00pm:  nighty  night!!

day in my life in my amazing spider-man dr

oh!  hey  you're  that  student  reporter  from  midtown,  right?  well,  welcome  to  the  daily  bugle!

i'm  mary,  the  resident  chronically-online  social  media  intern.  jjj  told  me  you'd  be  shadowing  me  today.  what's  that?  the  photography  intern…?  oh  yeah  peter  is  just  um…on  assignment.  he  always  gets  the  best  shots  of  spider-man  so  he's  probably  running  around  trying  to  get  some  pictures  for  the  next  issue.

but  you  wanted  to  know  what  a  day  at  the  bugle  is  like,  so  lemme  show  you  around!  we're  due  in  the  office  by  8:30  every  morning  –  unless  jjj  tells  you  otherwise…which  usually  includes  a  barking  phone  call  at  the  crack  of  dawn,  or  a  strongly  worded  (and  capitalized)  email.  i'd  suggest  making  coffee  at  home,  or  getting  some  on  the  way,  the  coffee  pot  in  the  kitchen  is  definitely  from  the  cold  war  and  could  withstand  a  nuke…but  cannot  make  a  decent  cup.

we  usually  have  pitch  meetings  and  catch  ups  all  morning  to  track  progress  on  stories  and  finalize  the  next  morning's  issue.  because  i'm  on  social  i  basically  just  gotta  theorize  how  to  take  the  day's  stories  and  make  them  digestible  for  our  generation.

then  we…oh  wow  those  sirens  are  really  loud.  hey  robbie,  what's  going  on?  SHOCKER  IS  ROBBING  A  BANK?  *ahem*  how'd  you  like  to  get  some  boots-on-the-ground  experience?  c'mon,  chop  chop!  i  hope  you  have  a  good  grade  in  pe  cuz  we're  running  there!  it's  right  down  the  block,  come  on!

okay,  uh,  stay  right  on  this  corner  –  this  should  be  a  safe  enough  distance  i  hope.  huh?  oh  nothing.  just  stay  here  and  snap  some  photos  and  videos.  i  have  this  extra  voice  recorder,  just  keep  it  playing  and  stream  your  thoughts  –  it  helps  remember  when  you  go  to  write  the  article.  what  am  i  doing?  i'm  um…  going  to  a  different  spot  to  get  another  angle  in  case  spider-man  or  the  widow  show  up.  just  don't.  move.  please.

“hey  shocker!  boy  am  i  not  shocked  to  see  you  here!  c'mon,  bud,  we  gotta  get  you  a  less  predictable  M-O!”

*huff*  hey  there  you  are!  you  alright?  what,  you  didn't  see  me?  i  was  –  i  was  right  over  there,  see  i  got  some  good  footage  of  the  fight!  was  that  your  first  time  seeing  the  web-swingers?  it  was?!  well  if  you  come  to  work  at  the  bugle  in  a  few  years,  jjj  will  make  sure  you're  sick  of  them.

‘why  are  my  clothes  wrinkled’?  oh!  well…you  know,  i  got  shoved  around  a  little  bit  by  crowd  control  no  other  reason.  c'mon  let's  get  back  to  the  office,  any  time  any  of  us  get  anything  on  spider-man  or  the  widow  we  have  to  show  it  directly  to  jjj. 

hm?  oh  yeah  spider-man  is  pretty  cool,  i  guess.  i'm  more  of  a  widow  fan  myself.  are  they  DATING?  pfft,  definitely  not.  how  do  i  know?  i  just  do,  trust  me.

anyways,  looks  like  jameson  isn't  in  his  office  right  now  so  i'll  just  finishing  filling  you  in  on  the  rest  of  the  day.  working  lunches  are  usually  a  given,  so  our  receptionist  betty  has  a  killer  recommendations  list  for  the  street  vendors  around  here  to  grab  a  quick  bite  to-go  before  heading  back  to  your  desk  or  assignment. 

when  do  we  leave?  oh,  sweet  child,  once  you  work  at  the  bugle  you  live  at  the  bugle.  there's  always  something  happening  in  the  city  that  we  can  squeeze  into  the  next  issue,  so  let's  just  say  the  nearby  chinese  spot  has  our  orders  on  standby  for  any  given  moment  we  gotta  stay  late.  word  of  warning:  don't  get  the  lo  mein  unless  you're  prepared  to  be  addicted  for  the  rest  of  your  life.

madame delacroix is the most sought after amongst the mama's of grosvenor square to dress their daughters during the social season. the benthams are no different; however, the blossoming lady rose offers a spark of creativity from her studies abroad in continental europe. embellishments common in the salons of milan, and embroidery that decorated the gowns of women in the galleries of marseilles, adorned the lady's gowns – much to the intrigue and jealousy of her fellow debutantes.
