However, my mom thinks it's bc I took the doctor's appointment the other day and couldn't do both & attend work that caused them to change my schedule from mornings to afternoons. Even though I already told her it's only my schedule for this week and could potentially change week to week. Also keep in mind, she hasn't been back to work since her back injury in January and has gone to PT the last few months.

I am terrified of driving.

My mom wants me to take a DMV test to get a learner's permit. I took it before online back in 2017 and got it then, but now I have to do it in person. She thinks if I have it, it'll lead to more job opportunities and higher pay. OK, it's not like I'm entirely terrified about driving, I'm just afraid of messing up, failing and being prone to car accidents if I don't know which way to turn, stop at a red light, etc. Plus, I see everyday on my way to work a damaged car parked in the corner and I wonder if that person is still alive & well, or if the car is still drivable.

IDK, maybe it's just me and I sound ridiculous, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to admit that to my mom. But on the other hand, if I drove, it would be easy transportation to just get where I need to go with no problems.
