Prices in Gaza have started to rise unusually, and goods have almost disappeared from the markets. Types of vegetables are scarce and expensive, and meats have vanished from the markets too. I mean, what's happening is the beginning of a new famine; food is expensive and scarce in the markets!

A older white woman that lives in the building called the cops on us saying that we were squatting in the apartment. They came and asked to see a lease I don't have one because we aren't staying in this apartment we are just placed here while our apartment gets renovated. I explained that to the cops and also showed them messages between me and the super and landlord and showed them the keys . But they said that's not proof we need to actually show the apartment number and my name signed smh. I called the super and the landlord office but no answer and now they told us that we have to leave til we have proof that we have permission to be here. I called my old neighbor in the Bronx and she said we could come spend the night at her house. We need a cab to get there .

I didn't hold it against her i remember being 16. She was very happy to have the clothes and underwear especially cause they had her in a gown so now at least she could have someone to put on. Everything went great today. I told her when they discharge her ill come pick her up and she can stay with me til we figure how to deal with the foster care stuff. Im sure we can find some type of foster care advocates programs so maybe we can get her a different worker and in a safer situation....or i could take some parenting classes and become her foster mother i mena it comes with a check so the extra money would be great and we could get a.
