We’re all watching the news, we see security-clearance-free Musk doing as he pleases. We’re seeing the layoffs and closing of government agencies. We know what is happening. Unfortunately, playing the ‘nothing we can do’ card isn’t gonna work this time around with trump, because that’s exactly what he wants you to think and feel!! No matter how uncomfortable and unfamiliar it all is, we outside of your country cannot do anything. We cannot call your senators, governors, or local representatives. We cannot go to town hall or city hall meetings. We do not live in your country, and yet we are already fighting back however we can. We have been protesting (there even was a cross-canada protest on your presidents day) and we have been boycotting. But we also have to protect our own country and freedom from the threat of yours. And, also unfortunately, trumps comments on making canada the 51st state and even saying TODAY that our Prime Minister would be a good governor (a comment that he’s been making since november) is causing canada as a country to begin searching for different trade agreements to distance ourselves from the American government, which is going to screw over american citizens.
Any of you, as citizens of the United States of America, are the ONLY ones that can do anything at this point. Canada’s gov will not save you. Mexico’s gov will not save you. The EU will not save you. My guess is that NATO won’t even back up the USA now, with their threats towards canada. The corrupt government is buddying up with russia and blaming Ukraine for their own invasion and war and calling Zelenskyy a dictator for following Ukraines OWN constitution that states no elections during war. We know those of you that didn’t vote for him don’t agree with him, but it is YOUR COUNTRY (not u specifically, but americans in general) that he is fucking up.
And if he keeps going the way he’s going, with his MAGAts and Nazi’s loud and proud and a lot of others just trying to ride out the next 4 years, well, I fear very few of your allies (as full countries) will be waiting on the other side.
I didn’t mean this to become a rant, and I’m not frustrated or upset with you for feeling so defeated against your government, because that’s exactly what they want!! They want anyone opposing them to be weak and worn out so they can continue to do what they’re doing and unfortunately IT IS WORKING.

and HERE is the .gov website that allows you to look up the contact info for reps at federal, state, and local levels. Find specific EO’s that you’re opposed to, find and bring up anything unconstitutional that the Frump administration is trying to pull. Talk about the threat of cutting ties with your allies. Email them, call them, send them physical letters, i don’t care just give them hell and make sure your voice gets heard! Also commit civil disobedience at any chance you get! You are as much of a citizen of the USA as any MAGAt and don’t deserve to be stripped of your rights and freedoms (which he’s already doing!!), or live in a country that’s making enemies of your closest allies.
Unfortunately, at this point, whether you voted for it or not, it is your circus, your monkeys.
I don’t know what else to say. The world normally loves America. Canada loves America. but your government is isolating your country while also threatening others. You guys will have to be the one to fight back this time ❤️
