but watching that was enough for my mom to lose her composure, laugh so hard she cried, and spill the entire glass all over herself, in the process getting kicked out of the winery

My first ever hospitalglam posts, above, got taken down for the bots thinking it’s violating the community standards.

So I’m reposting and asking how do I move all this content that I generated over to Wordpress, or something less stupid? 

The photos do not feature nudity, I’m fully clothed and alone in a clinical setting and the post talks about the invasiveness/how scary it is to have neuromuscular testing and how claiming clinical space in this way helped me with my anxiety.

I’m reposting the photos here in a weird dare for them to flag them again.

Saddens me but I’m probably *also* following everyone else, and leaving this platform altogether. It’s ironic because my being open about being ill is what made me “tumblrfamous”  - and internet famous  - in the first place.

I did the thing and asked for a “human” to review them, and I knew the weird new rules were going to wreck what was something cool. I did not know how mindless their auto censorship was. 

Like ok, sure, sometimes it’s hard to believe you’ve made any positive impact on the world. But it’s pretty easy to believe you’ve made a sock. Look at it. There it is. Put it on, now your foot’s warm.

There have been studies done on rats and dogs where they develop learned helplessness in the animals by giving them impossible tasks. Eventually the animals stop trying, even when the task stops being impossible. (I.e. put a rat in a maze with cheese it can’t get to until it develops learned helplessness, then put the cheese somewhere it can get to it and it won’t even try.) But once they show the animals they CAN do something - i.e. physically moving the rat to the cheese - the learned helplessness goes away.

No one can move you to your cheese for you, but the book says DOING something - which they define as “anything that isn’t nothing” can help. Make a food. Work in the garden. Clean a thing. Do a favor for a friend. Call your elected officials.

This is not about what I feel about my blog, but rather those who are affected, I’m talking mainly about sex workers and nsfw artists who have no choice but to make a living out of this. Especially since it’s on the international day to end violence against sex workers.

I might be left on tumblr, we don’t know, but I’m extremely disappointed at how Tumblr prioritizes the wrong issue when they could be tackling child pornography, pedophiles/maps, nazis, white supremacists and etc – things that we have been telling them all this time, but have fallen on deaf ears. I feel like this site has been dying since the purge, there is not much point anymore.
